DRC: Blend of Pros and cons

Likes

Teachers were very supportive and kind. Always there to help you
Library was really big and had books for almost every subject
The front lawn like you can sit there for whole day😅.

Dislikes

Commerce department was under construction So we don’t attend a single class in our department
Rest I guess everything was fine for me.
No outsiders were allowed Ig that some days students from other college should be allowed

Placement Experience:

When you reach in 3rd year you became eligible for Placements. There are N no of companies visiting with good package like deliotee, KPMG ,WTW etc Higest package offered at our time was 25lakh. Around 40% got placed. I also got placed but I have yo purse my masters so didn't join the company.

An experience for life

Likes

The location of the college was the thing that I liked the most. It was in North campus amongst other renowned colleges so it was a good campus.
The library was very good and had all the books related to everything.

Dislikes

The canteen was not so good. The food was not good.
The building were not good. It was always under construction.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not so good. I personally wanted Articleship opportunities and thought that as a North Campus college there would come Big4s as they were coming in other colleges. But no such companies came for any such opportunities.

Likes

Cleanliness is very good in my college comparison to others
Faculty is very supportive and understanding
There are many societies in our college to join and extracurricular.

Dislikes

There are not enough games or coach provided
The fees is very high , which means not affordable for everyone.
The infrastructure is not so good comparison to others.

Placement Experience:

In 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. The highest package is of 2100000 and average is 600000. The placement rate is 38 % . I want to prepare for masters after my graduation .

Daulat ram college infrastructure is better than before .
social quality is very good ..as i interact my seniors they all have good nature and talk in proper way and also help in studies ..
Teaching method is good and nowadays internship also present for science courses

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not tooo much good as compared to other college..
Daulat ram college have good library but the space is very small so all student cannot sit in library .
Daulat ram college has no place to sit in between the classes and the gap between classes is very more ..

The building of daulat ram college is not too good but they work on it , as a new building will form for science stream . The timing of exam is good but the paper is held on auditorium where no ac is present so it's very difficult to give paper in that area ...

Teachers are understanding and cooperative

Infrastructure should be improved and during summers it's very difficult to take classes as only few rooms have ac
Canteen food is not upto the mark although some things are good
Condition of washrooms are unbearable and dirty

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially I want to pursue Pol SC hons but due to cuet and my preference I got enrolled in english hons but have taken Pol SC as my general elective and by doing 4 years degree I can get minor degree in Pol SC and then purdue PhD in Pol science. Curriculum not really but yes helps to interact and express yourself. The timing of exams is 3hrs and difficultly level is medium

Likes

Faculty is amazing, the teaching way is amazing making understand every core of the subject.
Library is well maintained for enhancing your knowledge
Accessibility to professor is great they helps in every way possible

Dislikes

Canteen isn't that good ,prices are too high also the quality isn't that good
Administration block work slow and doesn't respond properly on time
Conference hall is a small which makes it difficult to inculcate big events smoothly

Daulat ram story (girls college )

Likes

It’s a girls college so you get comfortable around easy
The cafeteria is nice and airy , next to the auditorium
The campus is small so it’s easier to get from one place to the other

Dislikes

There is no air conditioning in the building
There is no parking space for the students
No designated room for extra circular activities like dance

So the course curriculum is extremely nice and helps in applications of the real world with the help of practicals that you'll need to do per semester The teaching methods are mainly the faculty using ppt and interactive sessions so that the students are able to understand the concepts clearly and easily

DRC Unveiled: A Journey of Knowledge and Innovation

The college faculty was really good at teaching. I personally opted biochemistry as GE and the biochemistry department faculty is really awesome.
There are lot of opportunities for conferences, internships, workshops etc etc The campus life is fabulous.
You can participate in variety of societies as per your interest. Lots of functions get arranged for that and you actually get to participate and win prizes.

Dislikes

The water quality and availability was not at all good.
The teachers were not supportive in regard of attendance. Thats y you cannot do many internships other than the summer ones.
The infrastructure is okayish. But the buildings are quite old. And the college renovation never gets complete.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of course is really great. We get to study 20-25 subjects in entire year and we also get to perform hands on for that. The subjects got taught all over were really important and helpful for masters entrance exams. And now as the degree got of 4 years instead. Curriculum have got changed entirely and a lot of things got added. More focus on internships and desperation is being given now.

Exploring Academics and beyond at Daulat Ram college

Likes

The college environment is very holistic and calming.
The faculty and seniors will help to guide you throughout the time period and will be available at your request.
The college offers various societies to be a part of to enhance student engagement and learn from them.

Dislikes

The college infrastructure could be a little better like classes can be well maintained.
Some facilities like clean drinking water and maintenance of washrooms could add more to the student hygiene.

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5 semester students become eligible for campus placements. The college offers campus placements and is visited by renowned companies. The college has a highest package of 23 lakhs for the year 2024 and 90+ students get placed in companies. My plans after graduation is to do an MBA for that I will give CAT in my final year of the graduation.

Its start with best college

Likes

I like library and college environment and also classroom and teaching staff all good
Non teaching staff are also cooperative and they are very helpful
College ground is best where we play many sports

Dislikes

I don't like canteen and food are so expensive and even they dont maintain hygiene
There are no ac in the class and even sometimes lights are also not work and there infrastructure is not good
Car parking area is not big then expected

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is best I want to do upsc that's why I choose history Hons it helps in my future also and I also like history. Everything is okay but some teacher don't behave right sometimes and always sometimes they forget to take class
