This college gave a great opportunity for the scholarship name du scholarship.
Yes the faculty members of cbse are very good and the placement the placement opportunity in
Talking about the placement in our college we have a placement cell called aspire who conducts placement opportunities as well as internships opportunities.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college are very bad and not well maintained. the main campus building are not in good condition .
The infrastructure isnt very great. the campus is comparatively small and the the building is also very old with broken tables, benches and fans.
About the cvs infrastructure it was not good or perfect and the new infrastructure also not powerful

Internships at cvs

Likes

I liked the crowd at cvs. You can find all types of people here and choose the best for you.
Teachers are very good for some subjects.
The Societies that cvs have are very good and have a very good image.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not upto the mark.
There is no proper maintenance of girls common room
Classes often gets cancelled so thats a drawback.

Placement Experience:

Cvs provides numerous placement and internship opportunities. The avg package is 4.5 lpa and the highest package goes upto 23 lakhs. After completing the course you can either get a job or enroll in a pg programme.

CVS

Likes

The societies, they are really one of the biggest + point of CVS, as they are very well functioning.
The campus, even though is a little small, really grows on you. And you'll start enjoying it.
The faculty and the students are all very friendly.

Dislikes

Some section of the crowd is not very good.
The fests' happening is very uncertain, as has been the case last year.
Like all DU colleges, the admin are not very cooperative.

Placement Experience:

I dont have much information about the college placement as of now, as im targetting Masters after completing my Bcom degree. But some good companies do come for placement in our college, presenting lucrative offers.

College of Vocational Studies: What's in it for you?

Likes

College Societies were one of the best parts about College of Vocational Studies.
The cultural socieities are phenomenal with the achievements they do every year.

Dislikes

The college societies, if you choose the wrong ones, can be very hard and toxic to deal with.
College administration lacks trust and confidence in students and ruins a lot of events by cancelling them mid-way.

Placement Experience:

• Placements: 5th semester students are allowed to sit for placements although it might change after NEP-2020 implementation • Almost all students get placed because of competition and college society experience that provide a valid experience for the students about different fields including HR and Marketing.

Library I like the most because it is the place where I can study properly

Dislikes

Our college washrooms because they are very unhygienic.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students are eligible for the college placements. If someone who not get the placement then they can open the travel agency or can do private job in any tourism company. 95 percent of students get the college placements.

Light curriculum which gives you opportunity to do whatever you want to do
Internships opportunities are quite good
College Societies are also great and provide good growth opportunity

Dislikes

Traditional teaching style with excessive focus on old teaching patterns
More emphasis on theory rather that practical knowledge

Placement Experience:

Average placement is around 4-5 lakhs, and companies like tech Mahindra, Preferred Square, Techguru, Wipro, TCS, and EY visit the campus for entry-level positions. D.E. Shaw also visited the campus and offered 21 LPA but no one got placed.

College of Vocational Studies: All you need to know

Likes

Crowd of CVS is much better than some better reputed colleges of DU.
Majority of the faculty is quite helpful.

Dislikes

Infrastructure needs improvement. Facilities provided are nit satisfactory
Fests and other events happen quite rarely.

Placement Experience:

The placements start from the 6th semester. About 400 companies like Accenture, KPMG, Deloitte, EY, DE Shaw and Co., Oppo, TCS, EXL, Airtel, Aakash, Tech Mahindra, IIFL and more have visited the campus. The average package lies between 4-4.5 LPA. The highest package is 21.5 LPA. I plan for MBA from prestigious institutes like IIMs, FMS, MDI etc.

The crowd of this college is really diverse and really fun to interact.
The professors have been really helpful to me.
The greenery of the college is one of the prime reasons why I like this college

Dislikes

The college infrastructure could have been better.
The college politics is sometimes really too much
The college sports facilities are not that adequate

Currently I'm in my 3rd semester and the placements are offered from the 5th semester. The college has a placement cell called Aspire which basically helps and coordinate all the placements in college. There are several famous companies that visited the college like Deloitte, KPMG, etc. There are also several startups that come to the college. The highest package was around 22 lakhs P.A which was offered to a Economics honours graduate in a consultancy firm.

Life at CVS

Likes

Teachers are well qualified and educated
Societies are most highlighted part of the college

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college is really poor
Admin and faculty are really rude to students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teachers are really well qualified but due to the new education policy, the seven subjects that we study makes a lot of chaos in time table and timing of the classes class starts from 8:30 in the morning to 3:30 in the evening.

College teacher are nice and supportive.
College has big playground for sports activities.
There are many college society and clubs.

Dislikes

College infrastructure is average, not great.
College management system is not that good.
Library of the college is small and have limited books.

Placement Experience:

Placement at our college is average and students become eligible for placement in 6th semester. Byjus, yatra etc companies visit for placement. The highest and average packages are 12.5 lakh and 3.8 lakh per. Maximum students get placed in this course. I will prepare for Civil services after graduation.
