Review from a CA student's perspective fo AJC Bose College.

Likes

The college is very lenient on the attendance thing, If you are a student there you'll not have to stress about having 75% Attendanfe
The college premises is decent big and have different departments as well.

Dislikes

The management of any document related work is very poor
The students are mostly show off and do not provide a study like environment

Placement Experience:

After 5th Semester students become eligible for campus placement but there is little to no vacancy for that much students, small companies like Mpokket Tries to hire from this college as for any other reputed companies they are rare and very less hiring happens. The highest package is somewhere around 2.5LPA from Mpokket I guess, The percentage of students getting placements is less than 5%. The B.Com degree for me is just for the sake as I am doing CA and I want to pursue my career in it.

Underrated college of Kolkata AJC Bose

Likes

The environment of this college is quite friendly and lively atmosphere for students who are looking quality education because the professors here are strict but friendly at the same time. Professors are quite helpful here
It's a college where large amount of students gather from different of West Bengal.

Dislikes

There is no well furnished canteen only cold water is available
Sometimes there are restrictions to enter in certain rooms

Placement Experience:

Almost 40% of students get placed here since on-campus placements are not much good. The highest package offered is 20 LPA, and the lowest package is 10 LPA. 35% of students got internships in different companies like Tata Steel, KMPG, Deloitte etc. The top role offered is a managing director.

Placement Experience:

After 6th-semester students become eligible for campus placement. Some private companies visited for Placement. Approximately 20,000 to 30,000 rs job offered from some companies. Approximately 10 percent of students get placement. I will do MSc and Ph.D. in Mathematics.

AJC bose college in nutshell

Placement Experience:

After 5tg semester students are eligible for campus placement. The companies visited last year were TCS and others. The highest package was of 6lac and average if 1.5 lac. Very low number of students gets selected by placement in college like 10% I would go for M. Com after graduating

Likes

The most important reason to select this college is it's affordable fee structure
The library of this college is something I like alot as it is very tidy clean and very much attractive to the human eye

Dislikes

Earlier, the Canteen was not good however it is being renovated
Something which I don't like abou the college is that it doesn't have any auditorium

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't applied for any internship yet however they provide many internship opportunities to students who have an aim to study and work at the same time There are many internship opportunities which helps students to boost their confidence
