Actually i had less rank in jee advance exam so i didnt got any IIT in my counselling .Then i got to know about this college from internet . In our college students go admission based on their jee advance rank . So this is how i chosed this college. Our college is as per IITS in academic but the difference is that our college have only core braches so they focus on skills . And the is average placememt is also low as compairing to IITS but in compare to NITs it is smiliar with respective branches Admission process is simle student must have qualified jee advance and have cuttof marks in their 12th board exam as per their category and student should have some document like aadhar card , marksheet , TC , mediccal certificate , bank account , Admission for slip etc. Student have to submit all the required documents in hard copy .

IIPE is good in terms of Education and Placements but lacks Social LIfe and enjoyment like Fests and Programs.

I qualified jee advanced but didnot get a good rank to get an iit, after iits iipe is one of the good colleges in engineering when compared to other private universities which provide good placement opportunities in core branches. the only way our college accept admissions is through jee advanced. the cutoffs for the last round in 2024 year are Chemical engineering - 25934 in CRL, 3726 in EWS, 8782 in OBC, 3880 in SC, 1801 in ST Petroleum engineering - 25708 in CRL, 4074 in EWS, 8956 in OBC, 3971 in SC, 1678 in ST Mechanical engineering - 25134 in CRL, 4046 in EWS, 8885 in OBC, 3910 in SC, 1738in ST

the iipe college

i applied for kl university guntur for btech in cse branch. but i did not choosen because it is too expensive. our college take admission from jee advance. mostly student prefer chemical branch in our college.

i have applied for iit dhanbad and iit mandi for material engineering. but sadly i not get these college . i missed from a small margin. our college give admission on the basis of jee advance. most student prefer chemical branch in our college.

The placement scenario of this college is only focused on core branches which makes it different from other nits ans iits also. It is a good option if someone wants to pursue a job in a PSU. The admission eligibility is to have qualified jee advanced with a valid rank

My college has done collaboration with iim visakhapatnam. if you maintain good cgpa then you can get directly admission to iim Visakhapatnam.

i got 97 percentile in jee main 2024, i was getting tier 2 nit's lower branch and in jee advance 2024 i got 110 mark. at this mark i thought that i will get ece branch in iist thiruvananthapuram. i waited till last round of iist counselling but sadly i missed from a small margin. i don't choosen tier 2 nit lower branch because iipe have good placement than tier 2 nits of similar branch.

A college you never heard about!

I did applied to various NIT's and IIIT's , also got various seats in some of the good NIT's and IIIT's but the tag of "Indian Institute" would be something that will make me proud in the upcoming future as i believe that my college will make it among the top institutions in India. I could have made it to much better colleges but my JEE Advanced rank wasn't as good as my expectations were , and this was the only college I was getting from my JEE Advanced rank. I got admission to this college through my JEE advanced rank , the cut off for general category in my time was around AIR 24,000. The admission process was quite easy.

The dream College

As you know it is Indian Institute of Petroleum & Energy.It is also now a Institute of National Importance.It acquires students from JEE Advanced. So as compared to private colleges and NIT's, it will much better than the other colleges.
