IIPE Visakhapatnam Placement 2026: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

Placement percentage is very good it is approx 95 percent with the average place of 9LPA which is not that bad but some students got placement belo 5 or 6 lpa and the hieghest pakage of our college is about 23 LPA .Overall every student got campus placements and there is very rare chance that student didnt got placed some students also choose to do higher studies . Companies which comes for placements are ONGC , HPCL ,PSU , IOCL, haliburton ,wipro , L&T hydrocarbon,HMEL etc . After my degree if i will get decent pakage then i will join company otherwise i will prepare for gate exam.

After 6 semester generally students become eligible for campus placements. companies like ONGC, HPCL, IOCL, Halliburton, Reliance, Total Energies, TATA etc visit our college. ONGC offered 24lpa for 2 students which is the highest in petroleum branch. Average package s around 8-9 LPA in our college. Mechanical branch has started only in the year 2023 so there aren't any placement data. Gail also offered 24 lpa for chemical students which is he highest. placement percentage is about 85-90%

From the end of 7th semester students are eligible for placements most probably. Mostly PSUs like , ONGC , IOCL , OIL , GAIL, HPCL, RELIANCE , and other IT companies also visit our college for placements Number of offers are more than the students who appear for placements Placement percentage is 98 approximately

our college have good placement. after starting of 7th semester students become eligible for placement.i will talk about 2023-24 placement because 2024-25 placement is ongoing.the number of offers made by several comanies are 1)ongc-5 2)gail-2 3)hpcl-4 4)iocl-3 5)hls asia -4 6)exl-6 and many other company gave offers. around 97 percent student got campus placement. highest package- 24 lakh average package- 9.09 lakh

As soon as students enter their 7th semester the placement season starts and they are eligible to sit in the placement. Various PSU's visit the campus for placement like HPCL, IOCL, GAIL ( for chemical engineering) and ONGC (for Petroleum Engineering) along with other private companies. Although ONGC has reduced the number of students for recruitment, but it's very uncertain so I can only expect the best during my graduation year. Other PSU hires chemical engineering students and each one recruits maximum of 3 students. PSU offers around 20 Lpa. I plan on to get a job after my degree but you will have to work very hard to grab the opportunity to get placed in a PSU , the competition here is very high and if you don't get placed in a PSU , you will struggle getting placed from campus , as apart from PSU , very less private companies visit the campus and even if they visit, they do not offer a good package, so do a thorough research before taking admission in any college.

The college offers 98% placement rates which is also not acquired by many or you can say all IIT's. So, If you want a secure placement this college helps you to get. The students eligible for campus placement in from 4th year.

Placement of college is good as compared to other colleges in the same domain students are eligible for placement from 7th sem onwards. many psus like ONGC,GAIL and many tech companies also visit the college highest package of this college is about 24 lakhs and avg is 8.8 lakh . about 98 % students got placement
