Likes

I liked the various culture of India because Students came from all over the India.
I like the place Visakhapatnam, also known as "City of Destiny".
I like the yummy food of south India and also enjoy the culture of South Indian.

Dislikes

Our permanent campus is not built yet, it is under-construction.
Water is not suitable for skin. It creates iiches in the skin.
Climate is too hot and temperature is very high here.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the course is too good. In the first year they teaches all the engineering braches basics concept so that it would be easy for the upcoming semesters and also in the placement point of view.

Class Size: 51Course Fees: INR 86000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college provides government internship from the PSU's such as HPCL, ONGC, HML, etc. from the 3rd year. The college also works in the research of H20 as a fuel which enhances the country's pride as compared to other country.

Placement Experience

The college offers 98% placement rates which is also not acquired by many or you can say all IIT's. So, If you want a secure placement this college helps you to get. The students eligible for campus placement in from 4th year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees for General category is 92200. Total fees is 35000 for 1st year SC/ST/PWD category. And hostel fees is 120000 for 1 year. There is also reservation for obc category as per their family income basis. The college aslo provides scholarship from Government PSU's company like HPCL and ONGC.

Campus Life

The annual fests of our college is named as SASWAT, which held in the month of November. The clubs and societies in our college are good. Many clubs are there such as coding, cultural, social, sports, etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are much good , the meal is too good , the hostel is at affordable price which includes lift also. So in my point of view Hostel is good as per price rates. The location of hostel is between the city .

Admission

As you know it is Indian Institute of Petroleum & Energy.It is also now a Institute of National Importance.It acquires students from JEE Advanced. So as compared to private colleges and NIT's, it will much better than the other colleges.

Faculty

The professors of our college are highly qualified and done Phd from IIT's and foreign colleges. The teaching language is English which is suitable for all the students came from different states. The methodology of teaching is also appreciable.

Review of My college

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible to sit in the campus placement. There are a lot of companies that visit my college including Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Quaxy and many more. Number of offers made are above 500. Highest package in 2024 was 40 lpa and average package was 5 lpa. Almost 90 percent of the students were placed. I'll go with placement after my degree.

Placement Experience:

From the third semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placements based on thier performance and cgpa or else they must be placed after four semesters in b. Tech. Many companies like Tesla, Amazon, Google, Infosys, Wipro, .. visit the college annually. Average package is of 8lakh per annum and the highest package is 60lpa. 80 percent of the students get placed at the end of the semester. My plans after the degree is to get a good job offering me a minimum 40lpa and after the will establish my own company in the market.

Actually i had less rank in jee advance exam so i didnt got any IIT in my counselling .Then i got to know about this college from internet . In our college students go admission based on their jee advance rank . So this is how i chosed this college. Our college is as per IITS in academic but the difference is that our college have only core braches so they focus on skills . And the is average placememt is also low as compairing to IITS but in compare to NITs it is smiliar with respective branches Admission process is simle student must have qualified jee advance and have cuttof marks in their 12th board exam as per their category and student should have some document like aadhar card , marksheet , TC , mediccal certificate , bank account , Admission for slip etc. Student have to submit all the required documents in hard copy ....Read More

IIPE is good in terms of Education and Placements but lacks Social LIfe and enjoyment like Fests and Programs.

I qualified jee advanced but didnot get a good rank to get an iit, after iits iipe is one of the good colleges in engineering when compared to other private universities which provide good placement opportunities in core branches. the only way our college accept admissions is through jee advanced. the cutoffs for the last round in 2024 year are Chemical engineering - 25934 in CRL, 3726 in EWS, 8782 in OBC, 3880 in SC, 1801 in ST Petroleum engineering - 25708 in CRL, 4074 in EWS, 8956 in OBC, 3971 in SC, 1678 in ST Mechanical engineering - 25134 in CRL, 4046 in EWS, 8885 in OBC, 3910 in SC, 1738in ST...Read More
