Hostel Facilities:

there are 7 boys hostel and 4 girls hostel in ISM Dhanbad. Students are allotted rooms on twin sharing basis and each room has equal amount of electrical ports, table, fan, chair, etc. In addition, mess, canteen, Juice Centre, stationery shop, TV room, Indor sports room and laundry facilities are also available.

The hostel fee is quite low, whilst the mess fee forms about three-fourths of the above amount. Water, electricity, internet, boarding etc.is all considered in the 1.2 lakhs (approx.) semester fee figure, with mess requiring separate settlement. We stayed in group accommodation, with bed, mattress, almirah, wardrobe, study table and chair provided to all boarders. Common facilities included washrooms and mess, which were quite satisfactory. The camaraderie that we developed in there shall stay with us for the rest of our lives.

So as I told you it has the cheapest cost that you can imagine 15000 rupees and when you lodging and when semester-end you get a refund of 3 to 4 thousand maximum 6,000 that happens every semester you get 3,000 rupees refund as in IIT you have your student union and student union decided that every day 100 rupees diet has to be given to the students so what happens to suppose the fee is collected for a whole semester and there are holidays so the amount of that holidays are given back to you. The food is very great like for a vegetarian or a non-vegetarian you have all the varieties. You can take supplements like every IIT suppose you want something extra you will have to pay for it and you can get it. It is not like other colleges like you can get an amount of food it's not like that. You can eat everything you want and if you want some extra you have to pay for it. Apart from the things on the menu. So if we talk about hostels, there are two kinds of hostels basically some are new ones and some are old ones. Old ones are built 40 or 50 years back, they are 15 feet above. Pretty good hostels but when you go there, there will be a thing you are asking for the older hostels because older hostels are bigger ones and they have the ego of living in heritage hostel and every senior wants their dream hostel life that I want to be in heritage hostel. So everything will be provided you have washing machines or everything you want.

Great ROI with a few drawbacks

Campus Life:

We have a few clubs such as Consulting Club, Analytics Club, Cultural club, and Igniter's Club for case competitions. These clubs will help you occupy the time on campus after you're done with the classes. Classes will mostly be conducted in the Department of Management Studies building. The institute holds the largest library in India that contains ample seating space and several books as well as journals for us to access. There's also State of an art Student's Activity Center for club meetings and sports activity which is great for physical activity. A swimming pool is also available for students who are interested in swimming.

Experiencing my first ever hostel experience that too from ISM Dhanbad was really an amazingly time period. All students in the hostels were quite friendly and I made great bonds with some of them who turned my best of friends. My rooms were more like study place for all of us because we have decided to discuss all our queries in my room. For Fun and entertainment one of my friend's room was the ideal place for us. The mess food at ISM was good and some particular dishes what so delicious that we used to wait eagerly for their turn in the schedule
