DMS, IIT Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placements begin from 3rd semester onwards and several companies visited the campus though the placement is not 100%. The highest package for the 2023 batch was 22 lakh rupees for the MBA core program and the average was around 11 lakh rupees. Most of the placements occurred in MBA Marketing for sales managers, product managers, etc.

For anyone who wants to go for technical education, NIT/IIT can be the best possible choice but getting their isn't easy because the competition is way higher.ISM Dhanbad is working under IIT Dhanbad and has been getting recognition from top agencies over the years like 32nd rank in 2021 NIRF rankings. The admissions to the M.Tech course at ISM-D requires a valid score in GATE entrance and the CGPA specified.

dear readers as you know,I'm from mining background so ISM is well-known as mining institute and it's a great opportunity to study here for any miner. So I also gone with this though and started new journey of life.

ISON Dhanbad is considered the 3rd best Earth science college in all of Asia and the best in India. Admission is given two candidates based on their CAT examination score, academic performance, online interview and industry experience. In the final selection, online interview is given the highest weightage.

I was more familiar with this college and surrounding because I did m.sc from here also. The college is very near to my home place. My ph.d guide and topic of research was my first choice. I know this college from my b.sc days. m.sc, I cracked ism entrance with obc rank 1. After obtaining good cgpa above 9, I got chance to seat in ph.d interview directly. After that. I joined here.

ISM Dhanbad is good in placements, infrastructures, faculties etc. It has 29th rank in NIRF 2020. It is good in terms of ROI. The main reason for me to join here was the affordable fees to pursue MBA. The admission is merit based on CAT scores, WAT and PI.

IITs are the premier institutes for engineering in India. Hence I have taken admission in an IIT. IIT DHANBAD is established in 1926 as ISM and then converted to an IIT. As it is an old institute, it has great reputation.

Reason why I preffered this college was that I had applied for a few colleges out of which I got selected in this. To take admission in this college we were supposed to have scored 75% marks ( 65% for SC/ST students) in 12th grade. They admit students to the course on the basis of JEE Advanced scores followed by JoSAA Counselling. Admission for the course generally starts from July. The admission process is simple. I preffered the online mode where I filled my application in the official website of the institute and attached the required documents. Then I paid the application fee and submitted the form.
