M.Tech - IE&M programme

For anyone who wants to go for technical education, NIT/IIT can be the best possible choice but getting their isn't easy because the competition is way higher.ISM Dhanbad is working under IIT Dhanbad and has been getting recognition from top agencies over the years like 32nd rank in 2021 NIRF rankings. The admissions to the M.Tech course at ISM-D requires a valid score in GATE entrance and the CGPA specified.

M.Tech- Industrial Engineering & Management is a 2 year Masters programme which is a great combination to learn more efficiently about Industrial management.Being associated with an IIT & having recognition from AIMA-Business Standard also it gets totally clear what kind of education one can get here. The faculty team here had really high quality teachers and they made sure we had the best experience.

The internships section was a very enjoyable part for me because I got to work under expertised professionals and that made a big difference in my skillset Enhancement. The stipend was also quite impressive in that Internship offer.

Our institute receives high value salaries every year and among them the M.Tech programme plays an important part. For my batch the highest offered package was INR 40 LPA with companies like Wipro, IBM, Tata Group, Axis Bank and Federal bank being highly famous recruiters of the placement drive. I was fortunate enough to get a highly productive job package from IBM which I am really enjoying being a part of.

For the whole time duration of the M.Tech- IE&M programme at ISM, Dhanbad the total fee was INR 1.75 Lacs and that really made the fee structure a good one especially being an institution under IIT group, it was really worth spending this much money to pursue Master's from ISM

ISM Dhanbad has been built in a grand campus of over 350 acres and there were facilities for sports, events organization and academic growth too. The sports fest, Library, computer lab and industry oriented events were quite popular and to make students familiar with the latest technology various tech activities were arranged by the institute. The canteen, Gymnasium services were also there. I really liked the balance our college maintained among education and co-curricular events.

Experiencing my first ever hostel experience that too from ISM Dhanbad was really an amazingly time period. All students in the hostels were quite friendly and I made great bonds with some of them who turned my best of friends. My rooms were more like study place for all of us because we have decided to discuss all our queries in my room. For Fun and entertainment one of my friend's room was the ideal place for us. The mess food at ISM was good and some particular dishes what so delicious that we used to wait eagerly for their turn in the schedule

A valid score in GATE score is important to be eligible for M.Tech admissions in this institute. The final selections for seats allotment was done as per the counselling process only. But students who have done their graduation from IIT group can apply even without appearing in the GATE score but they must have a CGPA of 8 in their B.Tech programme.
