Life at nift kannur

Fees and Financial Aid:

For the first sem the fees was around 1.83 lakhs. For one year it will be around 3.2 lakhs i guess. They are few scholarships you can apply like Sartak. Sartak requires the annual income of your family. The college will provide more details about it after you join the college. I am not sure the scholarships before i didnt get any.

Year wise fee - Year 1 - 360000 Year 2 - 304000 Year 3 - 335000 Year 4 - 292000 Tuition fee - 1,57,000 Library fee - 10,400 Mediclaim - 4,700 Exam fee - 4,700 Security deposit - 12,000 Registration fee - 9,000 The fee differs for NRI canditates and there are scholarships available for different categories ( SC/ST , OBC , EWS ) The fee almost doubles for NRI candidates - 6,70,000 - 7,00,000 per year basis And the scholarships can get the candidates reimbursement on their fee. Nift kannur review

180000 approx is the amount for each semester. If you're applying for hostel then it is approx 60000 for the first year and then it varies according to your choice for the second third and fourth year ranging from 60000 to 100000. Mess fees are excluded.

Great Experience at NIFT

Student Snaps:

There is security deposit you have to pay when you take admission in the college. Which is a12k or 15k. Which you ll be getting back after your convocation. And the fees is sem wise. Its is the same for a batch irrspective if the departments. And the fee increases by 10% (not really sure) every year. The fee is different for every sem. Approximately 1.5 lakh per sem or 3 lakh per year (approximately). This fee included all facilities provided by the college. That is developemnt fee, lab fee, library and everything. There is various scholarship that you can apply. That provides almost 100% of the fee if eligible. There is scholarships availble for all categories. But there is various conditions for it. Like attendence. Marks. Your family background. Their is national scholarships, state wise ones. You can basically apply for anything. But only get one scholarship. Some of it is sarthak, egrantz etc., The college gives medical allowance for students if they are injured within the campus.

NIFT KANNUR - the irreplaceable chapter in my life

About the tuition fees, it keeps increasing 10% every year. Right now in 2024 the fees is almost 3 lakhs. College provides 2 scholarship, sarthak and udaan. Sarthak is for students whose annual income is less than 8 lakhs. There are different categories and is divided into 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. Udaan scholarship are for students who got into student exchange program

The feee is too high but there is some scholarships and schemes to assist you though out the course . Udan scholarship NSP scholarship Egrands scholarship they will provide more than 90% of your feeee through that you can pay the fee

My gen z college life

Fee is relatively high if u compare to other national government colleges. It's around one lakh and thirty five or forty five pwr semester. Yes they do provide scholarship facility but that can only be availed by the students who's parents annual income is less than four lakhs. This course is definitely not affordable for people who are not rich enough.

The fee structure of Nift gets revised on various factors like inflation rising operational costs infrastructure development faculty salaries and other administrative expenses contact Nift official website for fee hike policy cost of studying at Nift includes hostel fees library fess tuition fees examination fees material costs Sarthaak is a scholarship which given on the basis of the annual income of the parents and there are many other scholarships like merit cum scholarships etc you can also take an educational loan from the bank which is linked to college

So there is no loan for me since i’m a financially stable student. However there is an option for the reserved category seat students and all they have to is show their documents and parents annual income to avail a partial fee waiver.

NoI haven't applied for any scholarship for educational loan but yes there are details available on the nifs website where you get to know about any scholarship or educational loan and they are pretty flexible with it.
