Review of the college

If you speak about college management the faculty is lack a bit in communication but yet they try their best. the decisions taken in the college are pretty late. The infrastructure and other college management is amazing it is very smooth.

The course which I have applied for is bachelors of design fashion design as specialisation. Course curriculum is very relevant according to the practical experience. They tried their best to put in all the practical knowledge and applicative knowledge in the curriculum. The exams are basically jurys which happens every end of semester The research they try to expect from us is very thorough and I guarantee that after one first your the second year you would totally get a internship on the basis of your calibre.the placements are also pretty good because it is one of the finest institution of India basically the only govt. fashion institution of India and it is known worldwide to be in top 10

I don't know much about the placements because a placement change every year. providing internship maybe yes as I am in first year I don't have much of an current information on it but college tries to give placement for the people their best

So there are two events which are the major events in all the NIFT around India. One is spectrum (inter dpt)the other is converge(inter College).the other events are Onam and Tarang at I am in NIFT Kannur Onam is one of the celebrations which is celebrated as enthusiastically as they celebrate spectrum or coverage. According to the area or state nifts other festival celebrations differ.

If we speak about fees fees is quite feasible if we compare the private institutions but yet it is expensive for many people and there are scholarships available for that people and I feel the fees is justifiable.the mode of payment the usually accept is DD and first we have to pay them in beginning while we are having the counselling sessions and the next year's depend on their days which are given on the site CMS.

NoI haven't applied for any scholarship for educational loan but yes there are details available on the nifs website where you get to know about any scholarship or educational loan and they are pretty flexible with it.

In NIFT Kannur if we speak the diversity is amazing maybe there are few guys only in a collegebut it is obvious that in India many people don't go for fashion especially in guys.the competitions are literally healthy and they help us gain experience tell us about how we have to be in the team and it's very sporty.as I am in Kannur we don't have much of recreation places outside campus so every Wednesday we have a DJ night or a music night where we sing music listen to music and dance together for 1 hour.

so in NIFT Kannur we have girls hostel boys hostel is not provided by the college but they provide places where boys can stay near by and attend the college girls hostel fees is quite low it's a cross 50000 or something.the quality we get it is not satisfied yet what the money we get a mess ,we get gym with AC, with garden to walk around.

ok the alumni network is pretty good because we have alumni meet every now and then and we do connect alumni through Instagram and they help us guide us to tell us how to work how to not.

I gave entrance exam of NIFT which is of two phases CAT/GAT and situation test. Cat/gat happens in January and situation test happens in April May after you get selected for CAT/GAT. CAT -50% GAT 30% SITUATION TEST 20% After you are rank is bin in given to you counselling sessions begin by June and college start by July end the counselling session has two to three rounds according to the merit list.

So the tentative number of lectures in the courses dufour and we have college from 9 o'clock to 6 o'clock but usually It ends at four because 4 to 6 is for the second third year students for practice or we want to practice as a self study. The qualification of professors are pretty good maybe PhD or pass out from the same centres and the average age would be 30 aur very till 50. The experience they have is amazing the way they worked in the industry they tell us they inspire us ,they also expert advisors talks from their industry where they bring people who are renowned for their work
