I would rate the course a 9 out of 10 as it is verified by aicte India and relevent too as engineering is one of the most relevant degree. In terms of Comprehensiveness the course is a 8 out of 10.from being a child my aim was to be an engineer so I chose this course

Discovering Tezpur University: A deep dive into Academic Offerings and campus Life

Likes

The environment is quite satisfactory. One can have a better College Lifestyle.
The faculty is very active during working hours.

Placement Experience:

The ROI of this University is Good. One of the students got a placement of 18 lakhs from Mechanical Department this year. But the percentage of students getting placed is a bit low. As very few Companies visit due to its location and as a result only 60 percent of the students get placed. I am preparing to appear for Gate exam.

Beautiful environment, Hostel facility is good, Faculty is good.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement in our university is average but this year max of the students are getting placed irrespective of the department with very decent packages and many companies are willing to visit to give opportunities to the students.

My experience at T.U

Likes

The greenery of the university is very good.
The sports architecture of the university is at par with other central universities
The hostel accomodation is also very good

Dislikes

The routine is a bit hectic with daily classes

College environment is very good as the campus is surrounded by trees
Infrastructure of the college is very good and the classrooms are well built
Faculty of the college is very helpful and there are many facilities

Dislikes

Hostel food is not so good at many times , it is mostly same for all the days
Some people spit around in the campus , which makes it dirty and not hygienic for people
Placement is average , sometimes its not even above 50 percent , so placement is quite average

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are average , if I'm talking about Cse department , it is around 50 percent and average placement is around 4lpa. So average placements as the company those visit are mostly looking for freshers who would take this amount of money only. The Placements can be better if some big companies visit the campus , only that's the solution.

Green campus,peace full environment and hostel rooms
Hostel rooms are good. Library is very good
Good department, good teachers and good labs

Dislikes

Placement is average and academic is quite hectic
Too many exams per semesters .There is no industrial exposer
Average faculties and grading system is also not good

Placement Experience:

Students are allowed to sit at placement after 6th semester. For this year no. Of company visit are 4 for my department and students placed around 6 . Highest package this year is around 12 lacs. Out of 70 students only 40 are eligible to appeared in placement and from which only 6 are selected. To apply to study abroad.

The college placement is better before the corona but after the corona it is gaining back its form and this year we have heard a good placement report form our senior that L&T OIL INDIA all are giving on campus placement and many of our senior get their off campus placement from ongc oil ISRO etc

Green campus, clean, hostels alloted, Faculties qualified almost everyone having phd degree. Teaching method good.Also cleanliness of campus . Infrastructure is quite good.Lab facilities instruments all departments.Culture of North east + othrombined
Placement cell is there.Everyone given double rooms.Those who are not allotted hostel are alloted temporary hostels.University take care of them too . Teachers encouraging and regular evaluation of 4 tests a semester.Every evaluation done fair
Teachers are hardworking.Seminars hold regularly to encourage students participate in different things.Inside campus cafeteria,shopping complex,gym, libraries every facilities are there with 24*7 electricity and water

Dislikes

Placement not very good.Just average.Recession might be the reason
Schedule is hectic especially in 1st and 2nd semester.Like 9.10 to 5.30 in between one small 20 min tea break and 1 hr lunch
Hostel Infrastructure is not very great not bad for some hostels.But still manageable

Placement Experience:

After 6th sem students become eligible for campus placements Details can be found on website still companies like itc,l&t,amul, patanjali etc offer placement here in Tezpur University Higest is not revealed but average 4lakh expected 40-60% students get placed Students opt for higher studies i may too opt for higher studies not decided yet
