Government Polytechnic Roing is a Young Government Polytechnic institution in Arunachal Pradesh, that got established around 6 years ago. It is affiliated to Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Technical Education (APSCTE) and is approved by AICTE. The College offers Technical diploma Courses in the different branches of Engineering. Admissions to the College are given on the basis of score/ ranking obtained in APJEE, a State Level Entrance Exam conducted by APSCTE. Government Polytechnic Roing Admission
Admissions to diploma courses at Government Polytechnic Roing are given through APJEE (Arunachal Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination) conducted by APSCTE under Directorate of Higher & Technical Education. Online applications for APJEE have to be submitted for clearing it with good ranking and score in order to get a seat here.

- Students who belong to ST/ SC category are provided 100% Scholarship on tuition fees, if their family income is less than INR 2.5 Lakh / Annum.
- Students belonging to EWS
(Economically Weaker Section) can apply for 100% Scholarship on Tuition fee. The only condition is that their family Income per Annum should not exceed INR 8 Lac
