Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is a bit hectic with classes from 9 am upto 5.30 and sometimes extra classes till 7-7.30.We have 4 exams within a semester comprising of 2 sessional exams and a midsem and endsem

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The tution fees per sem is 30k and extra 7 k for hostel accommodation. Their are various types of scholarships available for the students.The complete cost of btech without scholarships for a general student is roughly 3-3.5 lakhs

Campus Life

Annual fest here is held ar the month of february.There is a cultural night where the students council of the university invites various artist to perfom. Apart from this the engineering departments have their only science fest known as techxetra .

Admission

Eligibility for engineering is jee . Students have to pass the joint entrance examination.outside onrth east students have to apply through josaa councilling while the students from northeast have a Northeast quota.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is roughly 1:10 .The professors are highly qualified and very friendly. They sre very helpful .Also most of them have done their masters from iit and nits. We can interact with them very easily

Placement Experience:

By the end years like in 7th semester students get ready for the placements as our teachers prepare well for interviews and stuffs, Many companies like Sony, Wipro, TCS, Barak Brezos and many teach companies came in our camus for placements . The highest package was 15LPA a student got by the under of SONY, Average package was 6LPA ( sorry I didn't know much what the profiles offered by the companies) , percentage of students get placed is 90% rest 10% go for further studies like some is in IITs, NITs and offline Jobs . My plan after getting the degree is to be a full fledge freelance or work for an Company like remote job, apart from college study I'm currently doing Full stack Web Development and Editing. I want to take a good package from outside campus like from outsource now im into open sourse contributions and learning to be more subtle in it .

The computer science engineering course is good enough and the teachers will make you understand well but there also some teachers whose lectures are difficult to understand. In such case the student has to study by their own . The exam timing are 3 hours per subject and also there are practical papers . It is very important to get good percentage for placements
