Green campus,peace full environment and hostel rooms
Hostel rooms are good. Library is very good

Placement is average and academic is quite hectic
Too many exams per semesters .There is no industrial exposer

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course for learn about software how digital system works. Curriculum supports us in developing the technical skills required in real world. More industrial exposer is required to students and instead of exam give real world projects.

Internships Opportunities

There are no on-campus intership offered most of the students applied online for internships. There are few research projects in which students can do internships. Projects internship students can do after the second year.

Placement Experience

Students are allowed to sit at placement after 6th semester. For this year no. Of company visit are 4 for my department and students placed around 6 . Highest package this year is around 12 lacs. Out of 70 students only 40 are eligible to appeared in placement and from which only 6 are selected. To apply to study abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our tution fees is fixed throughout the course. Every semester we give 27000 rupees as tution fees in which hostel fees is also included. Total cost is around 222000 in which is you are a hosteler 2500 per month mess fees. There are some government scholarship available for students.

Campus Life

There are many fest for different departments. Every department has his own fest but there are two big fest tecxectra and one annual fest.There are many book in library. There are technical provision within the classroom. There are every sports and extracurricular activities on campus. Many clubs on campus.

Hostel Facilities

There is a bed, a study table, a chair, a cupboard and a shelf. Meals are average but sometimes it's bad and good meals on occasion or festivals. It will be offered during you can select there. I didn't rent a room or PG.

Hostel Fee: INR 7000 per year

Admission

The eligibility required are 12 passes and jee cutoff rank for cse is around 65000. Application for admission is jee exam. For obc and sc st students cutoff is low around 100000 . Exam for admission is easy and with some studying you can get admission.

Faculty

3.5

There are 1 faculty for every 25 students. Faculties are not always available for doubts. Most faculties are very good but few are very bad in teaching .You will be assigned a mentor for counseling and guidance whenever you want.

Great college with decent infrastructure and a large campus

Placement Experience:

The placements here are actually decent. The average package for my branch was around 13.5 LPA last year and branches like CSE, EC and EI have a higher average package generally. The campus is visited by almost all of the top companies including Google, Adobe, Facebook, etc. The detailed placement records are available on the website of the institute.The percentage of students getting placed ranges anywhere between 70 percent to 92 percent. I plan to get an M.Tech degree after completing my B.Tech course from an IIT if possible.

Overall good university which offers good internships and placement.

Placement Experience:

Placement percentage is nearly about 75-80%. Usually students get placed in good PSUs, or in tech companies. Other students opt for further studies like mtech or mba. My plans is to mtech as I want to do better jobs than a btech graduate do

Placement Experience:

Normally from third semester student become eligible campus placements but most usually take placements in fourth semester or fifth semester The percentage of getting placements are about 60% The highest package per company usually was ?80,000 per month and the average is around 20,000 Per month My plan is to get a job of a construction firm for about one year so that I can collect good amount of experience and they will hire me because I am passout from this college because this is one of the most reputed college after one year or two year, I will try for government exams or some private companies like Gautam farm, et cetera

The students who are appearing for the 7th semester end term examination are eligible for the campus placement drive , eligibility varies as per the companies eligibility criteria, main factors are CGPA score of the particular student. There are many companies who visited the campus for placement drive but the main companies who visited for campus placement drive are : NRL( Numoligorh Refinery Limited) ,ONGC( oil natural gas corporation) etc , the highest package offered was 24 lpa by NRL and the offer was got by 8 students and the average package of our college is 7lpa approx

An honest review for NIT silchar with detail analysis.

Placement Experience:

Placement of NIT silchar is pretty good. Average package is around 12 Lpa. Although after corona the placement dropped but still it is good. Many big tech companies visit during placement for full time and internship. Core companies also visits for different roles. During our placement season it happens generally after 7th semester. Generally criteria for sitting in any company varies based on cgpa and sometimes 10th and 12th marks depends on company to company generally it is 6 or 7 or 8 cgpa. Good it companies offer 20-30lpa and lowest offer was 6th lpa.

For campus placement student are eligible from 7th sem and for internship whole 3rd year 5th to 6th sem. Highest package till now is 34 lpa i guess in intuit .and lowest 6lpa.I am totally focus into doing job rsther than doing higher studies .Iam placed at Deloitte and i am happy.till now 50 percent students of civil got plsced 80 percent Cse

A brief description about Tezpur University

As I had applied in Dibrugarh university also for the same course and I got there but I choosed Tezpur university rather than Dibrugarh university as because the reputation of both the universities are best in there own but TU is a central university and DU is a state university, so there will be much more opportunities and advancement in a central university then a state university and all the family members and others suggested me to take admission here...as Tezpur university is more famous and known by everyone then dibrugarh university. To take admission here and get enrolled in my course (MCA), we have to give an entrance exam which is called "TUEE" by qualifying this exam one can get admission here from any background in bachelor as because there are two MCA courses available here, one is breached and other is non-breached. Breached course is for people with other background in bachelors which is for 3years and Non-breached courses is for people with background in computer science in bachelors which is for 2years. The cutoff changes every year according. One can also get enrolled here in other courses and departments by qualifying exams like CUET, JEE, CAT, MAT etc... This is a central university. And in northeast tezpur university is one of the best tu pursue MCA .fee structure here is also very less as compare to other universities. To get enrol or take admission one have to give tuee exam .then merit list will be released accordingly...Read More
