Likes

The most remarkable thing about the univers, the structural designs of buildings , it's quite good.ity is it's beautiful and serene campus. The lightings , the NIRBILI ,
The sports culture is one of the best I have ever seen. Various courts including the basketball court, volleyball court, long tennis, badminton court, cricket and football grounds are well maintained . The students too are enthusiastic.
Lastly , the faculties and staff are very friendly and ready to help and support us.

Dislikes

The curriculum is too hectic and we get less time for study , plus the faculties are a bit strict.
The placement is not that good. Has a low average LPA

Placement Experience:

The placement of this university is not upto the mark. The highest package recieved by a student was 37 LPA. He was an ECE student. The average LPA is around 6-7 LPA. I think it's a bit low compared to NITs/IITs. But compared to other central and state universities its quite good.

placement of our college is not so good very low placement were thier and also pretty low students get. campus placement maximum students have to go higer study or off campus so i don't want to say wrong

hectic schedule and Low placment

Likes

Campus is very good , filled many natural beauty
Infrastructure is also good with neat and clean environment
The weather here in Assam tezpur is also good compare to North India but in summer due to humidity too much sweat comes

Dislikes

Very hectic schedule, we will not get proper time for other activities as there are classes from 9 am to 5:30 pm
The placement and internship here is also bad
There is language barrier too for the non Assamese students

Placement Experience:

placement is not good here for cse students you have to go for off campus placement , this year 2024 the highest package for cse was 12 lpa and maximum recruitment was from tcs which is mass hiring at low packages

The campus life and social life here in this university is amazing …you will get exposure to a lot of things
The faculties and teaching staff are highly qualified and supportive. They are of very friendly nature and will prove mentorship to you at all step
The infrastructure is really good. We have well equipped labs and classrooms.

Dislikes

The placement scenario is not much impressive over here…number of companies visiting here are quite less as compared to other colleges.

For campus placement after 7th sem we are eligible to sit. Companies offering placement here include Nestle, Amul, Dabur, Cadbury, SRD groups, Varun Beverages, Patanjali, Spring Valley and many more The average package is of 5LPA and highest goes upto 16LPA

The life of an university student

Likes

The aspects of the college that I appreciated and those I felt needed improvement were , I think that our university playing field should maintain properly
In the campus we meet many other people from various places so we know different things about other places
Our university teachers teaching methods are highly admirable which helps to learn the things very quickly

There is not any specific aspects that influence me to choose the civil engineering course . As I didnot know much about this course so my brother given me the idea about taking this course and now I am here studying this course

The aspects of the college that we appreciate and those we felt needed improvement is basically no need for my purpose
The facility expertise, teaching methods,and mentorship is good

The area of the campus is big. There is a lot of greenery in the campus. The campus is very well arranged in 260 acres. The security staff is very good. There is a lack of shopping malls and everything else in the campus.
The average package here is around 6-7 lakhs. The package is a little less but the growth is quite good
The teachers are very good. The classes are proper. The teachers are very friendly.

Dislikes

The average package is very low. Percentage placed is very low
The lab teacher is very strict. The rules are very strict
There is a lot of sunshine in the campus. Veg food is not very good.

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement here can be a little disappointing however it is getting better days by days. The major hindrance is the location factor but th Tnp cell work very hard to bring companies and to provide students with equal opportunity. CSE has an average placement followed by ECE . In core branch most of the people go for exam like GATE, ESE or State PSUs exam or any higher study however some people also get placed on campus in PSI like olu , electricity boards and all

Campus area of this college is very beautiful, this college has 250+ acres lush green campus.
Infrastructure of college is very good it can even good from some nits/iits
Every kind of sports facility is available here from swimming pool to lawn tennis court.

Tezpur University, a place which makes dreams come true. Itis a place filled with joy, excitement, love , enthusiasm and knowledge.

Dislikes

The university overall is a wonderful place but there are always place for improvement.

Placement Experience:

The university provides placement for all the departments be it private companies or pwd. The highest package ranges from 11-15 lpa and the average is 4 to 5 lpa. The placement also depends on the students academic qualification and overall performance.
