A College with Potential

The central library is another place where i spent my most of the time when i have no classes, they have a vast collection of our college related books
The total infrastructure of our college is really good , the classrooms , the playground, the canteen

Dislikes

The website of our college is too confusing , i think if they will redesign their website that would be very helpfull for us.
Our college has too many floors and only have one main toilet at the ground floor so i think if a additional toilet is available on every floor

I also applied for Barackpore Surendra Nath rastra guru college, i dont take admission to that college is beacause of distance i live in belgharia and bhairab ganguly college is the nearest college i have and if i have to go to Barracpore College i have to travel via train or buses so thats why i choose this college over that. Yeah i also applied at st. pauls cathedral mission college i don't make their cause according to their merit list my marks are too low so thats why i didn't take addmision their. Our college take admission based on our 12th board exams if i have enough marks for admission i get admitted and if i dont have the marks i dont get admitted. the cut offs in this admission proccess go lowest around like 350 out of 500 in the 12th board.

Bhairab Ganguly College, one of the sweetest colleges of Bengal.

Dislikes

The behaviour of the office staffs are sometimes very bad.

Admission:

The admission process was online. You've to apply with your 10+2 marks & after counciling if your name is on the list, you can admit yourself. The college is rated NAAC A+ & obviously that makes this one of the bestest colleges of West Bengal.

I did apply to various other colleges.I applied to the college which was nearest to my home but i got rejected due to some problems in the photo upload.The next closest and well known one was Bhairab Ganguly College and i am very glad that i took admission in this college.It was merit based.

One more thing i like about Bhairab Ganguly college is that our college focus on social works and events. They always give a social message through events and programs. For example, planting trees,debate on current affairs and talking about women etc
As i think bhairab Ganguly college is overall a good college. Im college we have facilities of study and many things. College campus is too good and clean. If we look into the college library then there are every books provided for studying and focus

Dislikes

Bhairab Ganguly college's parking area is not fixed . Many students park their vehicles where they want to. Because of this other students face problem. In my opinion college should have a different and separate place for parking the vehicles.
Water connection is not good in Bhairab Ganguly college. If you want to drink water then you have to go to 2nd floor for use of drinking water. And many don't even know that our college have drinking water supply. This is too embarassing moment .

Admission:

Application form is available in Bhairab Ganguly college's official website. There is no need to come in college for admission. Just fill the form and wait for the merit list. If your name is in merit list you can take admission by paying the mentioned amount. I don't think so that there is have to be chnages in admission process.

Every year Bhairab Ganguly college organise a fresher party. The college's canteen is very clean and good. Their food is not too expensive.
Bhairab Ganguly college always focus on social works . Our senior and union members always attract youth towards teh social works.
The college's campus is very big and clean . Teachers are very polite and motivational. Teachers guide us to achieve our goals . They help us to study good for upcoming exams. Teachers give us notes and guide books for learning. Students are safe .

Admission:

Any type of entrance exam does happens before admins but for the admission in college, you should have atleast more than 70% in 12th. After admission college upload a merit list of students .if any Student's name is in this merit list so they can take admission by following the process

Admission process is very neat and clean. the college accepting students according to the merit basis. The merit list is prepared by the obtained marks of 10+2th exam. the cut off marks is in between 70 - 75 %

Admission process was very simple. As the eligibility was 60 % aggregate so it was fulfilling the criteria, application form is mentioned in the bhairav ganguly college website. Fee for bcom hons 3445 per semester. As beside I'm preparing for competitive exams so it becomes little difficult to reach college at time.

The college is a overall good college and it is A+ accredited by NAAC
The campus was much bigger than many average colleges

Admission:

I am currently in 2nd year of B. Sc. Computer Science Hons course. Science background and Mathematics is needed in 12th to apply in Bhairab Ganguly College. I filled the online application form and there was no form fees in 2022. There was reserved seats for SC, ST, OBC and PWD in the college. The admission process was perfectly fine and very smooth
