The campus was much bigger than many average colleges
The college is a overall good college and it is A+ accredited by NAAC
The playground is big and the indoor sports complex is the biggest sports complex in the district

Course Curriculum Overview

I love the subject There was total 20 students in our 2022-2025 batch and there were 4 faculty member. 1 faculty member per 5 students The faculty members are excellent and teaching method is pretty much fine The exams were not very very difficult, but the questions were standard

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is well mannered and the instituition is very particular to put each and every details about its fees I availed the Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship (SVMCM), and yes there was financial assistance and concession was there also

Campus Life

Every year a freshers welcome party is organised by the college union. Many reknowned persons have arrived in the program The central library is useful for many students There is always a seminar or workshop or special lecture in the campus

Admission

I am currently in 2nd year of B. Sc. Computer Science Hons course. Science background and Mathematics is needed in 12th to apply in Bhairab Ganguly College. I filled the online application form and there was no form fees in 2022. There was reserved seats for SC, ST, OBC and PWD in the college. The admission process was perfectly fine and very smooth

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.

I also applied for Barackpore Surendra Nath rastra guru college, i dont take admission to that college is beacause of distance i live in belgharia and bhairab ganguly college is the nearest college i have and if i have to go to Barracpore College i have to travel via train or buses so thats why i choose this college over that. Yeah i also applied at st. pauls cathedral mission college i don't make their cause according to their merit list my marks are too low so thats why i didn't take addmision their. Our college take admission based on our 12th board exams if i have enough marks for admission i get admitted and if i dont have the marks i dont get admitted. the cut offs in this admission proccess go lowest around like 350 out of 500 in the 12th board....Read More

Best BA English college under WBSU.

This college has a very large and well maintained campus. The study atmosphere of this college is one of the best. It has an excellent English department. The admission process is easy, fast, and hackle-free. Now whole education conducted through online mode.
