Infrastructure are good, fees were reasonable but not now. The college management should control politics influence.
Course Curriculum Overview
This college provides campus placement, many renowned companies visit every year for campusing, overall the education structure is quite healthey for making its students for professional field. All facilities are provided by the institute for being professionaly strong.
Placement Experience
No I didn't get the opportunity to appear in campus placement because the minimum criteria was 50% marks, and I got 47.25%. Around 60% students get placed. No, unfortunately the institute don't take any step to prepare the students for the placement season.
College Events
Annual celebration, Farewell, Saraswati Puja, Nabin Baran Utsav etc occurs. They are quite big and many of the students participated in those functions. We've done some social work also, actually every year students participated in social work as well.
Fee Structure And Facilities
When I was the student that time the fees were reasonable, around Rs. 1800 for admission and Rs. 250 monthly fees. But now I've came to know that fees got very expensive compare to my time. Yes the institute provide transparency in the fee breakdown.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, it does not offers any. Infact the concession rules are also not up to the mark. I'm from a middle class family, I've applied for fess concession but they didn't consider my application. They only provides concession by political parties recommendations.
Campus Life
The labs are well organised, sadly politics are everywhere, can't talk about gender ratio because I'm unware of that. Tolerance regards gender is not an issue. From every religion we have students any we were more like family. The economic status of the institute is quite good.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors were helpful but not all of them. Student association not not upto the mark. Politics are everywhere.
Admission
I've filled up the admission form for B.Com course, after that based on 12th standard marks we got selected, I've chosen this college because it's near from my residence. It is under West Bengal State University, and it's renowned for its teaching faculties, the infrastructure is good. It's one of the best college under West Bengal State University. Previously it was under University of Calcutta.
Faculty
Some of the lecturers have industry experience, some lecturers are Chartered Accountant as well. The age range of the lecturers from 29-50 or more. Some are good writer too. They were always very helpful. They know how to make students professionaly ready for jobs.
