- MCC has announced a Special Stray Vacancy Round for NEET UG Counselling 2024 for admission to the vacant All-India Quota MBBS/BDS/B.Sc Nursing seats. The last date for online choice filling and locking for the Special Stray Vacancy Round is November 22, 2024 (8 AM). The Seat Allotment Result will be released on November 23, 2024 @mcc.nic.in. Candidates who will be allotted a seat will have to report to the allotted institute from November 25 to November 30, 2024 (5 PM).

The admit card will be released on November 16, 2024, and the entrance exam will be held on November 19, 2024. The tentative date for the declaration of results is November 25, 2024, and the counselling will be held on November 28, 2024.
- The online registration portal for B.Sc Nursing Admission is open from Oct 1, 2024 till Oct 30, 2024. Those who are unable to complete the online registration during the above-mentioned time, the same portal will be available for them till Jan 31, 2025 with an Applicable late fee. - The college offers almost all medical degrees including MBBS and various postgraduate & postdoctorate courses. The college offers best education via practical learning through clinical rotations in various departments in the hospital.
- The faculty is generally good and experienced with some who are excellent as professors. The faculty are helpful and interactive. They are also supportive of students who want to engage in some research work.
Dislikes
- As the campus is small there is no such happening campus life.
- The campus is after all a public hospital so it lacks cleanliness.
Admission:
As we know admission in government medical colleges are done through rank based counselling via multiple rounds. So I got admission in Rgkmch based on my AIR of 8107 in AIQ in open seat qouta in 2023. I had placed RGKMCH in my preference list as it is one of the oldest medical institutions of India. It is located in a prime location in Kolkata. It has a good alumni network. It has a great patient load which offers a invaluable ground for med students to learn and practice there knowledge of medical science. Exam accepted as of 2024 is NEET-UG for undergradution; NEET-PG for postgraduation and NEET-SS for post doctorate.

- There is no ground for sport.so we cannot easily play sport in our college for sports we depends others college ground.
- Our hostel is not in our campus.we come college through walking 10 minutes .during rainy season its problemmetic.

For admission you should crack NEET exam which is all india entrance exam .cuttoff rank for our college is approx AIR 10 K general category.during admission you should verified your document during councelling process .

- First year girls hostel is a dormitory. Rooms are always better. Dormitory is dirty and not maintained. Bathrooms are also dirty.

You have to clear NEET UG cut off for our college which varies according to your category . Cut off is high as our college is third most sought college in WB. Offline admission is going to be very easy as seniors will be there to help you . Reservation is according to neet ug criteria. Seat is reserved for gen , gen EWS, OBC b , OBC a , sc , st. Cut off for gen was 14K in 2023

- There is no separation of hospital and college so, student's have no privacy during hospital hours.

You need to qualify the NEET UG exam . With an Air of around 10k-13k to get into this college. All details of admission are available on the MCI and WBMCC website . The NEET exam is quite difficult and the frequency is once a year. The Andmission process coul be made a bit simpler by the MCI by reducing the no. Of documents they need offline as we have already provided them online.

Eligibility criteria is that the candidate must be of science stream with PCB. There is some reservation for lower class. The entrance exam conducted is of 3 hours duration. The difficult is level is medium.

- The campus is too small and it lacks many amenities like playground for football or any other sports
- The patient load is huge and due to this reason the patients don't have any waiting place and end up gathering around the gates or sit on the footpath
Admission:
The application process tho was lengthy but they were cooperative and for some people who wanted to pay through online there wasn't such an option for them. The application was both online and offline, but mostly offline for documents checking and submission purposes. I had got admitted through NEET and as the cut of is always high, but having reservation helped me. As far as the eligibility I am not sure because people who are 22 are in my batch so I assume that the upper limit is 25 and below limit being 17 on that year of admission.

The MBBS course for unreserved students can be availed after scoring a minimum of 600 in the all india NEET-UG exam for government colleges in our state. The admission process was meticulous to provide thorough checking of the candidates so as to check eligibilty of the students opting for admission
