My Experience from iLEAD

Likes

iLEAD provides a better facility to achieve career development. The faculty expertise and all round teachers interaction
Placements in iLEAD are immensely better than most of the college as it provides all over career development.

Dislikes

First off all it has a little less care for students on their punctuality. As the management does not pay much attention on the attendance
iLEAD is way too expensive for middle class families and it's hardly affordable.

Various companies recruiting from the campus , highest and average package being offered

Placement opportunities are very high and quantitative in iLEAD. It provides large number of placements to the students, many companies are offered to the students to build up their career. From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for applying in the companies presented in the campus through placement. Many companies such as Airtel , Vipro , TCS (Tata Consultancy Services), Know Your Digital, Reliance and many more big companies had made offers for the students. Average package offered for thr students are ranging from 1.6 lpa to 2.4 lpa and highest it can reach upto 6 lpa for the freshers. It depends more on the skills and knowledge of the student rather than percentage obtained for getting placement.

Internship opportunity in various organization

iLEAD provides varieties of interships for the students to specialize their subjects. Different internships such as Entrepreneurship, Financial Marketing, Digital Marketing, Industrial Roles. Etc As i mentioned earlier, placement opportunities of iLEAD is very good and brilliant. It's one of the best in the whole West Bengal. Students can pursue their career further with the help of iLEAD placement opportunities. Companies such as Airtel, Vipro, TCS, Reliance and many more big companies had made offers for the students.

What are various functions and events organized in the college?

As i mentioned earlier, iLEAD has a vast amount of infrastructure and it's very high tech. It is fully air conditioned and remotes large number different technologies to function. iLEAD organizes large amount of festivals, events, seminars and many more. From cultural events to sports events, it provides intense amount of fun and enthusiasm to the students and to me ofcourse. Managemedia is one the biggest event of iLEAD, it has large number of events, programs, shows, performances. It invites large number of famous public figures to ignite this grand event.. I love being the part of this Cultural programs. iLEAD also provides gaming events for the hardcore gamers around the college event outside too.

Total fees of the course and scholarship availability

As i mentioned earlier, fee structure is quite expensive for middle class families. As it provides large infrastructure so the price range over every course is quite high My education costs approximately ?40,000 each semester. It costed about 3 lac for 3 years including admission fees (?51000). As of it's high cost, it also provides large varieties of interships, scholarships and multiple financial aids.

Students view on course curriculum

First off all, i love commerce and financial marketing. Thus, pursuing BBA was the best option to learn more about the economy and business in marketing sectors. To pursue BBA iLEAD was the best option to achieve my overall career development. Academic management provides enhanced facilities and prepares immensely to face the real world challenges. All the teaching methods and facilities provided by the college are top level, and the technologies used for betterment of the students are also top class. Overrall iLEAD has one of the best academic management in whole West Bengal.

What are the facilities provided in the college hostel ?

The PG services that the college provide is kind of luxurious as they give 4-5 students a flat of 2 rooms and a kitchen in a housing complex which is 10 minutes walking from the college campus and the college takes full responsibility for the student's security. ILEAD Kolkata guest room facility is offered for the comfortable stay of visiting faculty, guests and guardians. ILEAD Kolkata hostels are spacious and fully furnished for boys. The hostels are well-equipped with all the modern amenities including work tables, telephone, adequate wardrobes and more.

Students view on faculties and their approachability

First off all, iLEAD provides a better faculty expertise to students than any other college. The academic stuff, student councils faculty management, teachers and mentors all played a key role in all round career development. They allowed me to increase my knowledge and performance on various aspects. I had great interactions with my teachers and mentors and created a inseparable atmosphere among them. Most of the teachers are helpful and friendly and they are very cooperative towards students work ethic.

What is the eligibility criteria to get admission in college?

The admission process for ilEAD is not that complicated or difficult. All you need is basic knowledge about the field you want to choose or pursue. The eligibility for the courses are not that strict, as you need to score above 70% in the board exams. Anyone can apply for the admission after scoring above 70% in board exams. After applying for the admission, documentation process will take place and after that you have to give an entrance exam to be eligible for the admission. Admission:

First of all the college had a very vibrant culture and there is no ragging as such as all the batchmates were really helpful and supportive. The campus was amazing too with constructions using recycled items. I even applied to other colleges but found this one is very good.

I have applied to other colleges, like the narula, jis, techno and jdc. I got confirmation from every other colleges i applied for but ilead drove me more because of their campus and placements. Ilead provide better placements than most of the other colleges. No i didn't get any rejection from other colleges. I got confirmation from every college i apllied for then i chose ilead. The admission process is very simple. You just have to get above 60% marks in your higher secondary exams. And if you got more than 70% then you're eligible for some scholarships. Then the registration amount is to be paid with some paper works done. Then you're ready got admitted successfully in the college.

The environment is very lively. A student from any background will not be judged or be misbehaved with.
The availablity of books in such extent is too good. Actually the whole campus is made of books. It's simply amazing.

Admission:

So i also applied in SKFGI but the thing is there is the faculty is leaving one by one and then I decided to get a transfer and as this college is under same uni i successfully got the transfer before registration is over. I don't want to bad mouth but SKFGI is not at all great of a college.

Admission:

i choose this college for its updated curriculam, supportive faculty (1:30 ratio) and affordable rupees 3.8L fee. Admission was via CET Exam, it offeres better value than other colleges. It balances quality and cost effectively. Other colleges had either higher fees or outdated currucula, making this the best choice.

The whole college is designed very wittyly

The college has no good parking, the one there is available is very very far away
The food choices are limited inside the canteen of the college because it mostly consists of veg food

Admission:

Well, I didn't apply to any other colleges because it was not necessary and there are not many colleges in kolkata for interior designing, and that also this good. They are a more all hands on deck college. Over all experience was very good, and easy regarding admission. They gave us and helped us to fill the form. The form was available in online and offline mode for student's convenience. Even the payment was available in both ways for easy and safe payment.

The overall ambiance of the college is very different from other colleges would definitely recommend a student with a creative mind

The fine for attendance they would charge someone 500 rs per percentage of attendance lost bellow 75%

This collegis very practical just because of the way of studying in class and labs because apmost everything is digitally equipped and we have our own studio for video and auidio rwlecordings we have our own croma studio and it's the best way ti studY and make projects like professionals at a very early age

ILEAD Kolkata offers good mass communication and journalism programs both for UG and PG discipline. Situated in the Topsia district of East Kolkata, ILEAD is an institute offering more than 50 professional courses. It is affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology.

Admission Process- For all PG & UG courses the session starts from the month of August but the entrance test for admission starts from the month of March. Fill in the admission form and submit it with a sum of Rs.1000/-. The institute conducts group discussions and personal interviews for selections.

Eligibility and Course Structures-
