Maims the true story

Likes

infrastructure is decently nice . We have projectors in our class
Faculty members are well educated, understanding and supportive
Encouraging environment for sports and culture

Dislikes

Main Gate is very far from maims building
if any event is going on it has to be wrapped up by 5:30
You can not sit in class if you have no lecture , classes are locked even in college hours

Placement Experience:

overall college placement is very good , this placement factor is a crucial part that makes maims the best college in ggsipu , but as Bca is new course added there is no passed out batch yet , in 2025 the first batch added is in its 2nd year

An honest College Review

Likes

The management team is amazing, they are very helpful
The infrastructure is nice and their are hostels canteens stationary etc for usage
The teachers are very passionate and are very helpful

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides many benefits and the college has a good reputation and the field itself has many benefits including the library and the book bank services. Exams are taken twice in the form of internals and externals The curriculum is well structured and thoughtfully designed to provide both theoretical depth and practical exposure it integrates core law subjects with humanities subjects and interdisciplinary approach help students understand the social economic and political context in which law of rates making the learning more meaningful and application oriented.

Things i liked is the infrastructure which is very well maintained
Girl boy ratio is good enough students are to be honest are well educated
Faculties are really the best every teacher in every sem is very helpful really good ik teaching and the best

Dislikes

As such no particular parameter but improvements are always there but as per me it was all good and ideal
Ohh yes the bba hod manoj is definitely not a good person this man is the most selfish dean ever in the faculty

MAIMS review

Likes

There infrastructure and classroomsare well-maintained. Classrooms are clean, spacious, airy, well-lit, equipped with air conditioners, and have projectors.
The college library is well equipped with a lot of helpful and knowledgable books.
The college ground is quite big and college environement provides opportunity to participate in various extra curricular activites.

Dislikes

The distance of college from the nearest metro station is quite far.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is quite relevant and useful. Core management subjects like Finance, Marketing, HR, Accounting are taught. The course provides a strong theoretcial foundation. All these theory combined with real-life examples, case-studies, and presentations enhance the learning experience. The internal Exams are conducted in the middle of each semesters. Then at the end of each semester, the external exams are being conducted.

Practical learning with active campus activities

Likes

Supportive and approachable faculty who help clarify doubts.
Well-maintained and equipped infrastructure including classrooms, labs and library.
Active campus life with events, fests, workshops, industrial visits and extracurricular activities maintaining a balance between studies and extracurricular activities.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are generally for final year student based on previous years many repeated companies are visited offering rolls and management and it profile the average package rangers around 4.5 to 6 lacs per annum with top packages higher. A good percentage of student secure placements.

A balanced and student friendly college experience

Likes

Offers a friendly and comfortable environment with a decent and jolly crowd which makes day to day college life enjoyable.
Most of the teachers are kind, supportive and approachable. They are willing to listen to students academic concerns
The campus is also average with 4-5 canteens and playground with seperate courts for basketball and badminton

Dislikes

Individual attention to every student can be improved
Teaching more practical things can also be included in the course
Teachers can use less of projectors and try to connect with the students by keeping doubt sessions

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the curriculum 4 out of 5 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness . It covers the core commerce subjects well and is aligned with the university guidelines , making it useful for exams and higher studies.

A student’s perspective on life and learning at MAIMS

Likes

Faculty members are experienced, supportive and approachable.
Regular seminars, Webinars, workshops, guest lectures and industrial visits are organised, which help students in gaining real world exposure.
College has decent infrastructure with well maintained classrooms.

Dislikes

There are limited extracurricular sports facilities as compare to other colleges.
There is no inbuilt hostel facility for girls.
College life is more academically oriented, so students who expect a very active fest or sports culture may find it limited.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at MAIMS is average and mainly focused on entry- level roles. Some companies do visit the campus for placement and internships, but most opportunities are suitable for areas like accounting, sales, operations and administration.

COLLEGE LIFE AT MAIMS

Likes

The college campus is very huge and has so much space for different actiivities.
college provides so many extra curricular activities.
It has so many socities such as commerce, entrepreneurial for skill developement.

Dislikes

The college location is very off beat and nothing in its surrounding.

Placement Experience:

The placements are not that good, most of the companies are not well-known and generally offer sales and business development roles to students who are not even related to that background, and the packages are also very low.

so the placement here are avergae according to me a normal average student can score a 3.5 lpa package and the highest package was around 8-9 lpa which is good enough according to the college . many different comapny visited the college like grant thrompton, ey, zomato,kpmg etc my plans after getting my degree is to persue mba

MAIMS: A balanced Academic Experience with a Scope for Better Campus Life.

Likes

The campus size was pretty good and airy.
There were multiple canteens and good food available,

Dislikes

The locaton of the campus is kind of off-beat.
There is no legitimate parking space nearby the college, and traffic challans are issued when you park outside.

The course curriculum is quite comprehensive and relevant, covering both foundational and advanced topics that align with current industry standards. There's scope for improvement in integrating more interdisciplinary content and updating teacing methods.

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and is considered to be amongst the top 10 institutes to pursue BBA. MAIMS established in 2003 is spread over a 10-acre area, and has a total seat break-up for 240 students and a teacher to student ratio of 1:20.

Courses & Eligibility:

The courses offered under BBA are:

BBA (General)- Fees: 2.64 lacs
BBA (Banking and Finance)- Fees: 2.64 lacs
Integrated BBA LLB- Fees: 4.5 lacs
