- Main Gate is very far from maims building
- if any event is going on it has to be wrapped up by 5:30
- You can not sit in class if you have no lecture , classes are locked even in college hours
Course Curriculum Overview
Bca is required to be all about tech and all , and the given curriculum is right for that but as the technology is changing the curriculum should also change like majorly change, minor changing are there each year .
Internships Opportunities
Overall intership and placement is good , we have EY , Dabur , JBM Jindal saw ltd , physics wallah , wipro etc as our partners But as there is no batch of bca in there final year , we can not say anything about it
Placement Experience
overall college placement is very good , this placement factor is a crucial part that makes maims the best college in ggsipu , but as Bca is new course added there is no passed out batch yet , in 2025 the first batch added is in its 2nd year
Fees and Financial Aid
first year fees : total = 154000 lakhs activity fee 1000 security fee 5000 (one time refundable) insitute alumini contribution and misc charges ( one time non refundable) university fee 15000 rupess only
Campus Life
Overall experience including every aspect like club, social working , infrastructure, management etc is good . Like as for maims there first ever tech society exists because of BCA department . All the other courses in maims are non tech . But a major draw back is there is no event which include singers etc like those which happens in du colleges
Admission
For admission in ipu we have to clear ipucet exam . i cleared my exam and had rank 1079 all over india . Maims is one of the best colleges of ggsipu . I wanted college vips but vips cut off was higher than my rank therfore i was not able to go there . But i am happy and satified that i am in maims
Faculty
faculty student ratio is fine . In Bca department the best faculty we have is Mr ashish arora , his nature , guidance, support , knowledge, understanding behaviour everything is great . All the other faculty are nice including our HoD . There is not any faculty we dont like but there is a floor attendant, nobody likes him Examinition : we have 1 internal 1 external in a semester internal are of 40 marks external of 60 marks relevant to course curriculum moderate to hard level exams easily cleared if you study
Night Life
The surrounding area of maims is desserted after 7:30 pr 8 pm , if you have your own vehicle than it is okay otherwise it is not . In college we have badminton court ( fee is there) , after classes students sit at the stands area . There are multiple cantees inside the campus like nescafe , silver spoon , amul etc
