- Regular classes, classes don't get cancelled most of the time and follow a schedule
- We have multiple canteens and hence a wide variety of food options are available
- The ERP portal is a useful way of finding out your attendance
Dislikes
- The campus is a bit far away from direct routes, but it is accessible by rickshaws and all.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is relevant to the current education policies. There are a lot of subjects that are practical and have real world application. The curriculum prepares us well for real world applications and further academic pursuits
Internships Opportunities
Bajaj, Deloitte, FnP, Physics wallah, Swiggy , zomato are some of the many reputed companies that provide internship opportunities in our college. The stipends range from 5000-10000 per month , there are many training internships provided by companies as well
Placement Experience
3rd semester students mostly become eligible for campus placements. Bajaj, Deloitte, FnP are some of the companies that have visited and hired students from our institute. Highest package would be 20 lakhs and avg would be 16-17 lakhs .
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees per is approximately 1,40,000 per annum, We also have scholarships on merit-basis which are usually awarded to children who perform well academically and we also have financial aid which are available for people in need
Campus Life
There are almost all subject books available in the library . We also have an online library feature. The facilities and technological provisions in the classrooms are good as well. There are various sports and extracurricular activities provided in our college like table tennis, badminton, basketball etc. we also have NCC and other college socities for almost every interests like dance, music, theatre, startups, business and all
Admission
I applied to Delhi University colleges and Other colleges of GURU GOBIND SINGH INDRAPRASTHA UNIVERSITY. I got admitted to Shaheed Sukhdev evening shift in du, bba vips and then bcom Maims . I chose my college because the evening shift was not comfortable for me and the course that I was interested in was bcom
Faculty
The faculty are nice , they are approachable and interactive with all the students. We have two exams per semester; internal and externals. The internals are conducted on a campus basis only and externals on the university basis
Night Life
I am not residing in the hostels in the campus so I have no idea what the nightlife is like. But on days of fests where we stay pretty late, it is safe and all. But it's not too safe of an area after 8 pm just to roam around
