Likes
- The course curriculum follows the best syllabus. It follows the Kerala Technological University syllabus. The exam structure is also very good.
- The students are brilliant, and most of them find themselves according to their wishes.
Dislikes
- The syllabus revision for the Semester Based examination conducted by the University of Kerala was a bit slow and contained outdated content.
- The college does not provide internships. We have to find internships ourselves. They do offer opportunities for the same. Some companies, such as Saint Gobain and Benz, come to recruit students for internships; however, their selections are limited.

- The students in the college is very friendly and like minded. Ragging is strictly prohibited inside the campus
- There are many technical and non technical clubs present inside the campus helping students to develop and practice skills.
Dislikes
- The syllabus is affiliated to KTU and is not very updated. Its the same old syllabus and there is no much practical knowledge gained through the syllabus.
- Lab facilities are poor compared to the reputation of the college. Many equipments are not properly working especially the connecting probes
Placement Experience:
The college is well known for the placements and salary packages it provides. Many companies of national and international standards offer placements with salary packages ranging from an average salary of 6,00,000 to 50,00,000. Some of the reputed companies that offer placements are Texas Instruments, Scheighder, Infosys, Technopark, Caterpillar, Oracle, Shobha Constructions, Tismo, Unacademy, etc.

- The college provides very good number of placements with quite decent salary packages compared to other state funded and private institutes in Kerala.Average salary packages range from 6,00000 to 9,00,000 and higher packages exceed up to 50,00,000
- The campus life is very lively and enjoyable. Many big technical and cultural events including Dhwani and Dhrishti being one among the most popular events held in South India are conducted every year.
Dislikes
- Even though it is one among the premier institutes in India and the number one government college in Kerala,the college lacks proper infrastructure. Many buildings are very old and the classrooms are not very good.
- Lab facilities are poor and in some labs students have to wait to get properly working instruments. As for me since I am pursuing Btech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering,I must be extremely patient as probes an instruments work poorly
Placement Experience:
The campus placements begins from the sixth semester onwards. Many reputed companies of national and international origin come for placements.This include Microsoft, Infosys, Technopark, Schneighder , Tesla , etc and provide good salary packages ranging from 6,00,000 to 50,00,000 lpa. Most students with no supplymentary exams during their course get placed in any one of the companies.

- It’s more like an art college.We have plenty of cultural festivals and hobby clubs
- The freedom in our college is one of the important factor to choose this college.No academic pressure at all.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure.The college was built in 1939.Our new campus was built in 50 years ago.So it is very old and never maintained properly
- The college area and the people around that are more religious and who follow right politics
Placement Experience:
From S4,We can get the internship offers through placement cell.Full fledge placement season is starting from S6 .The highest package is 34 lpa in this year(Texas Instrumentation) .There is an average package of 5 lpa in our college.I got the placement in Tata Consultancy Service.

- CET College of engineering Trivandrum is one of the best colleges in Kerala.
- CET provides the best placements in Kerala.
Dislikes
- The college deals with a issue of stray dogs there is way too much stray dogs around the campus
- The campus is not as big as listed in Google it is only about 20 acres where Asin Google it said there is more than 100 acres

CET provides the best placements in all of Kerala companies like access instruments TCS Infosys bosch and several other big time companies come here to take placement . The college also provides and student assist cell for helping students to get placements

- Not promoting internships like IITs and NITs
Placement Experience:
Students sit for placements in 4rth year. Around 100-200 companies visit our college inclyding top companies like Texas Instruments, Schneider, Microchip. Highest- 32LPA Average- 5LPA In EEE around 90% students were placed last year.

- The most i liked about our college is the placements.Here almost 90% of students are getting placement.
- The second thing i liked is the hostel facility . The rooms and foods are best .
Dislikes
- The one thing i dislike is the timing of the college because its still not 24 hour campus.
Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester students are eligible for placements. Many companies are visiting our college for placements. Some of the companies are texas instruments , bosch , tcs ,etc. Highest package is offered by texas and it is 35 lpa. average package is around 4 lpa. In the previous year almost 90 percentage students got placements. After the degree my plan is to go for the job which i got from the placement.

- Placement is the new main thing i liked in this college.
- College has best hostel facility for all the inmates studying.

Placement Experience:
Placement is very good. Almost eighty per cent of students are getting placed with an average package of seven lakhs. The main plus point is that core companies are coming for all the circuit branches. mainly in the seventh semester, the placement is getting started.
Likes
- College consist of large area and is covered with trees . Very pleasant atmosphere.
- The college fest is a blast and consists of around 3 days where renowned celebrities come from around the world.
Placement Experience:
The placement in the college for various cs, ee,ec branches is very good. Over 300 companies visit the college during placement period . Placement for other branches is comparatively less. The average annual salary offered is around 6lakh.

- The college faculties are very helpful and supportive
- The college fests like dristhi dhwani and disha are vibrant
Dislikes
- Water scarcity during the summer season.
- Rushed curriculum due to covid-19 lockdown
Placement Experience:
The college is well known for it's campus placements. A number of companies will come for campus placements during the final year. Most of the companies require candidates who are not having any backlogs. Therefore we should make sure that we are not having any backlogs.

- I liked the college fest like drishti dhwani
- Hostel accomodation is very nice with good food
Dislikes
- Work load some time very high which makes us hectic
- Semester duration some time is very short
Placement Experience:
Our college provides 500 plus offer in our college time and eighty percent of students get placed with good package. If someone not get placed they can go for higher studies with gate coaching and higher studies outside India with scholarship
