CET Trivandrum is a government engineering college, established in 1939 by the Government of Travancore. This institute is acknowledged and managed by the Government of Kerala. It is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Students who are in their final year of UG or PG courses are eligible to join campus placements at the CET. To get in the placement round, candidates should fulfil the institute's academic criteria, that is, maintain the required CGPA, and students should not have any active backlogs while appearing for placement. The fees I've paid during admission procedures are listed below. College yearly fees: 9650? PTA fund: 15000? Bus fees: 2000? Extra: 1000? I've paid this much amount on the day of admission after getting keam allotment. For the next 3 years, we need to pay only the college yearly fees, which is 9650?. For SC/ST candidates, the yearly fees is 1000?. Apart from all these, there will be exam fees during every semester. That will be around 4500? which is common to all KTU students. Scholarships like egrants, central scholarships and many other private scholarships are available.

Dislikes

The syllabus is affiliated to KTU and is not very updated. Its the same old syllabus and there is no much practical knowledge gained through the syllabus.

Fees and Financial Aid:

For my first year of college, I paid 9650 as tuition fees. This was paid to the government directly. Then an extra fees of 9000 was paid on my day of admission which included bus fare, CETAA development fund and others. From second year onwards the tuition fee is 13660 including university examination fees. But from my second year, I have the Egrantz scholarship which will cover my total tuition fees. Many scholarships like Egrantz, Mcm, and reliance are available which will grand you upto 70,000 per year and can help you cover the whole tuition amd hostel fees

CET- The dream engineering college of Keralites.

Fees and Financial Aid:

For the first year of my college, I have paid a total tuition fees of rs9650 directly to the Commission of Entrance Examination CEE, Kerala.Alongside on the day of my admission, I paid rs2000 as bus fare(even though I am a hosteller),rs6000 as hostel development fund and rs1000 as Cetaa development fund.During my second year, my fee structure tells me to pay a total of rs13660 for the total year which includes tuition fees, university examination fees and special fees.This amount would be most probably the same for the coming academic years too.Since I do not currently have any scholarship or special considerations, I am paying the full amount to the college . Most of the students having an annual income less than 1,00,000 have the Egrantz scholarship which covers their tuition fees and hostel expenses.Many other private and government scholarships like MCM, FFE, Reliance,etc are available among which the private ones grands almost 50,000-70,000 for students every year

The first Engineering College in Kerala,CET

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees is very low compared to NITs,IITs.it costs around only approx 4000 rs only for one semester.Hostel fees is also very cheap.The living expense in TVM is also cheaper than other cities in the country.But,There is several scholarships which we can avail.Some of them are provided by State,Central govts and college alumni itself.

The fee here is really low as this is a government college only 10000 rupees per year without including hostel fees. There is a lot of scholarships available here. For students from under privilege community there is a lot of financial assistance provided by the college there is a lot of financial assistance provided by the college

Fees and Financial Aid:

Tution fee in an year is only less than 25K because it is a government college. If you have reservation based on income or caste, you can apply for various privaye and govt scholarships and that reduces tge tution and hostel fee even more. Hostel fee is seperate and amounts to less than 40k per year

The fee structure of the college follows government fee structure as it's a government college. It's better to study in a government college because the fees will be less. There are different scholarships available. Even the alumni association will provide scholarships for needful students.
