- The faculty are very helpful and kind to the student.There is a very good coding culture.You will get exposure to everything what sports ,extra-curricular activity etc.
- The senoirs are very co-operative and eager to help us if we reach out to them regarding any problem irrespective of its type-be it academic or something else
- The camps is absolutely Ragging free,there is anti-ragging squard made of faculty ,seniors and student which look after this
Dislikes
- The campus is very big that's why there are bushes everywhere,it is difficult to maintain it....
- As it is a government college and it is quiet a old college so the buildings are old but the infrastructure is good
- There are so many clubs approx 31,so you will definately get confused

Placement Experience:
At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

- The teachers are very good.They helps us in verious problems.
- The seniors of our college are very helpfull.They help us in each case.
- The clubs of our college helps us to improve our skill in each department.
Dislikes
- The facility is not very good which was given by government.
- In hostel the food quality is good but in the vegetarian section the food quality is too bad.
- Recently our college placement is very bad due to reccesion so that was another problem which we faced.
Placement Experience:
Our college allowed after 7 th semester for on campus opportunities.The companies which visited our college are TCS , INFOSYS, Amazon and etc.The students who are placed they got above 9 cgpa in exam.

- The college academic curriculum, and the professor.
- Helping and good seniors for guiding us.
- College beautiful and green plastic free campus.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the lab equipments.
- The cleaniness of the classroom benchs and boards.
- Placement are decent but it can be good.
Placement Experience:
Placement are good the average package for tech department are around 8 lakhs and for non tech it will around 6 lakhs. And the placement ratio is good around 90% students are placement in on campus placement session. But some students are also preparing for GATE exam also for PSUs jobs and get further studies in IITs and NITs.

- Bonding between senior and junior and batchmates.
- sports club especially football club I like most.
- JECLAT the annual fest I like it very much because of events.
Placement Experience:
Generally students can apply for oncampus internship from 5th semester. From 7th semester student can apply for college campus drive. Average packege is 8.5 LPA and highest package is 62 LPA .Almost 95% of students get placed every year.

- The mainly liked the ecofriendly green campus . which gives us a good nature exposure
- I liked the college faculties who are very supportive
- I liked the fests that are organized in our campus
Dislikes
- I disliked the less no. of hostel staffs
- The sports facilities in our college must be improved immediately
- The outskirt location of our college is quiet inconvenient
Placement Experience:
After 6th sem a student can easily be eligible to appear for the college placements
companies visited - TCS , wipro , infosys, media.net and etc
highest package offered till date is 74 lpa and the avg package offered is around 9 lpa
my plans is work in a FAANG company after getting the degree

- Very friendly and interactive environment.Helpful seniors as well as batchmates.Good realtion among seniors and juniors.
- Good opportunities for internships and placement.
- Being an autonomous college,the choice of syllabus is good,only focuses on necessary topics.
Dislikes
- Hostel buildings are very old structured and not properly maintained. Work should be done upon mess food.
- Lack of resources in workshops and laboratories.
- Being not so close to a large city, there is not proper participation in fests. although scenario has changed in recent years to some extent.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Mostly follows MAKAUT syllabus.
Only the important topics are focused on, which is helpful for students and helps them to develop a skill side by side.
Teachers and staff are helpful and Frank as well as supportive.
