Likes

The faculty is very nice and highly experienced
The classrooms are well equipped and they all have switch boards
The library and the canteen are also very good

Dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview:

My major decision for this course was the blend of IT and management which is rare yet beneficial for the future and the teaching methods where in today's world IT is so important we are been taught various programming languages and everything so that we can stand in today's world.

The unique opportunity of staying in computer field after commerce

Likes

Teachers are top notch as they are very experienced in their respective fields
Canteen Affordability is great. Students can even get there breakfast and lunch from Canteen itself at a reasonable amount
Computer Labs are in great shape and kept very clean at all times

Dislikes

Campus Facilities are very limited i.e Library and Reading room
No extra circular activities are conducted in the college ones that are conducted are in other campuses on symbioisis
All the events are held in the parking lot of the college making it very difficult to enjoy them.

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester SICSR provides internship to its student, companies like cognizent, wipro, etc. make offers for students. The highest package given was 21.5 lakhs in 2023 and average package given for this particular course is 4.8 lakhs. 95-100% student get placed through the college. And my plans after the getting the degree is to pursue MBA in the same respective field

Personal opinion on sicsr

Likes

Staff is very understanding and cooperative
Staff is very experienced and the teaching is very well
Placements are very decent as compared to other colleges

Dislikes

For my course there’s only a building so there’s less space
We don’t have our own campus it’s just a building
Because of our small area of college we don’t get enough events

My college do provides campus placements. And placements of my college is very decent as avg package for a BBA student in India is 3-7 LPA but my college offers a very good avg package of 21 LPA For BBA as well as for BCA students

The faculty members of the University is very knowledgeable and experienced
The course structure for BBA-IT is very well put together
The placement opportunities and internship provided are very good

Dislikes

The campus area of the college is small as it is located in the residential area

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from their final year. The placement cell organises seminars, workshops, live sessions to prepare students for their career paths. There are prominent companies that visit some of which are Deloitte, Mahindra, Philips, HSBC, Accenture, federal bank etc which hence shows the strong industry ties of the institute. Highest package for BBA-IT is 24.56LPA. Average is 4.98LPA.

SICSR EXPERIENCE

Likes

I liked the teaching faculty, and the environment that this college provides.

Dislikes

I disliked the campus life here. We have to visit other campuses to get the essence of all the college events etc.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements take place around the 5th semester. Companies like Amazon, congnizant, Bajaj, Accenture, Dell etc offer placements. The highest package in 2022 was 21LPA and average was 4.25LPA. SICSR offers 100% placements to it's students.

SICSR is a good place to consider

Likes

The faculty and the placement security is one of the top things I like in SICSR
The crowd is pretty priveliged and small, so socializing is easy

Dislikes

The campus is too small, we don't even have a campus. We have a single building that sometimes throws us off guard
No events or extra curricular activities whatsoever. The staff is sometimes rude too

Placement Experience:

From the 5 semester the students are allowed to sit for the placements, their are various interwiews and channels that show the opportunities to the students. The highest package was around 21lakh last year from mba (IT). SICSR gives 100 percent placement, except for those who have failures or backs on their end. Amazon, cognizant and various other tech companies recruits from SICSR.

i hate the campus life as it was small plus there are no activities to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of BBA IT. There are enough faculties for students even there are visiting faculties who come to our universities. All the faculties have done Ph.D. in their specialization also they all are aware of programming. It was a bit difficult as all the classes of mine were online.

Symbiosis being one of the reputed colleges in India. The institute thrives on giving out the best to students. Naming extracurricular activities, fests, functions, college parties and in a whole the environment of the college.

Amazing

Remarks:

College is pretty good. I would say above average. If you wanna really study and specially want symbiosis degree then this College is not a second thought. You must get into it but If you r someone who is into sports and some other activites.

The SICSR- You can make it or break it

Remarks:

This course has potential in terms of application but it is not put to professional use. Management is lacking. Important information is not conveyed on time to the students, students are always forced to participate in events they are not interested in or fill surveys using attendance as hostage. They make you sign too many undertakings.
