I liked the teaching faculty, and the environment that this college provides.

Dislikes

I disliked the campus life here. We have to visit other campuses to get the essence of all the college events etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course because it is a perfect blend with IT and business. This course met my personal preferences and as IT is an upcoming industry, it was just right. Faculties are pretty qualified, we also have visiting faculties from time to time. Every semester we have to choose an elective subject, they are all taught by various faculties of the entire symbiosis University. The term exams take place once in a semester and the other subjects have internal marks throughout the semester. We have two semesters in a year.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies recruit and offer placements and internships at SICSR. Companies like Amazon , congnizant etc etc offers projects to students which they work upon. I am still in 1st year but I have seen the seniors get the projects

Placement Experience

Campus placements take place around the 5th semester. Companies like Amazon, congnizant, Bajaj, Accenture, Dell etc offer placements. The highest package in 2022 was 21LPA and average was 4.25LPA. SICSR offers 100% placements to it's students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for a year is approximately 2L and other normal student expenditure. The scholarship information is provided on the official website, I do not have knowledge as I did not apply for one. We get paid internships in the 5th or 6th semester and then placements at the end of the course in companies like Amazon etc.

Campus Life

We do not have any events as such. We can indulge or participate in the events that take place on the other campuses that keep happening all around the year. The library is pretty helpful and they have all the relevant books. They also have an online library access for the students. Amenities in classroom only include a projector. Sports events do take place in campus from time to time. There were clubs earlier but have been recently dissolved.

Admission

You are supposed to sit for (SET) Symbiosis entrance test to opt for sicsr. The eligibility criteria demands for 10+2. The application forms are available on the official website of symbiosis University. I have little to no knowledge on the reservation criterias but I'm sure you'd find some if you surf through their website.

Almost all the top firms which are into finace, auto and other top sectors comes to recruit here. Seminars and classes for training and placements are mandatory for students once they are in the second year. Final placements happen in the final year only.

Placement Experience:

BMCC college provide the internship as well as placements to the interested students. Average package in BMCC college your can expect 4 lpa and the highest can go up to 7 lakhs. In BMCC college well known companies like JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, BNY mellon,HDFC Bank, Wipro , Infosys, Tata Motors, Zomato etc have came for the Placement. Looking at the current scenario in the market placements are okay in BMCC college. But still it can be improved college needs to get more well known reputated companies also they should make sure to get a good job role for the students.

Placement Experience:

WWI has a Placement Cells that keeps a track on opportunities for students. There is a mandatory internship that students need to complete after completion of sem 4 before sem 5 is commenced. Students can also get internships in the winter break during sem5. There are various live projects that students can work on depending on their interests and experience during the academic year. Final Placement opportunities are posted to students during sem 6 where students need to list themselves and let the cell know about their interests and priorities.

Good college for BBA and MBA

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bachelor of Business Administration is a course which gives you knowledge about Business management and enhance your skills to apply in real time situations. The course is good and easy and so the faculties are nice and have a good subject knowledge. The unique opportunity of staying in computer field after commerce

I applied to NMIMS and MIT WPU and i got confirmed admission in both of them NMIMS i got selected for Navi Mumbai Branch and decided to reject it due to high living expenses in mumbai and I reject MIT WPU due to lack of placment opportunities. Admission process of SICSR includes an online exam called SET and if you get qualified then you are called for an Interview round. There are seperate qoutas for special categories and international students. Cutoff for this exams are genrally 40-50 marks out of 60 for the written test and PI is for 40 marks....Read More

SICSR Life

I had applied in LPU and Christ University, Bangalore but I chose Symbi bcuz it was always my first choice and reputation wise also Sumbi has the best reputation compared to the rest. Plus, Symbi ranks in the top 3 BCA universities in India. Even Christ comes in the top 3 but i feel it's just cuz of their high intake, whereas, SICSR only has an intake of 180 students for BCA....Read More
