The unique opportunity of staying in computer field after commerce

The idea of working in IT field after taking Commerce influenced me to choose this course. As of now a few subject help alot to prepare one for real-world experience like business communication, etc. You will have atleast 1 exam of one subject per month till the sem ends and the difficulty gradually increases

Cognizent, Vipro aresome examples of the companies that provide internship in this collge for the positions likek business analysists, software requirement manager etc. I can not provide more details on this as I am a first year

After 5th semester SICSR provides internship to its student, companies like cognizent, wipro, etc. make offers for students. The highest package given was 21.5 lakhs in 2023 and average package given for this particular course is 4.8 lakhs. 95-100% student get placed through the college. And my plans after the getting the degree is to pursue MBA in the same respective field

The Year Wise is 109000 per semester and there are 2 semesters per year so the total rouonds up to 218000. all the extra charges are included in the above fees and SICSR does not have any additional charges for uniform as it is provided by them only.

There are diffirent types of clubs in the college like coding club, photography club , culutral club, etc. events are held in August ( Dandiya ), September ( Mental health week ) etc. The tech provided within classrooms are decent to say the least but computer labs are top notch and provide very good tech for students. A vast amount of books are available in the library .

I applied to NMIMS and MIT WPU and i got confirmed admission in both of them NMIMS i got selected for Navi Mumbai Branch and decided to reject it due to high living expenses in mumbai and I reject MIT WPU due to lack of placment opportunities. Admission process of SICSR includes an online exam called SET and if you get qualified then you are called for an Interview round. There are seperate qoutas for special categories and international students. Cutoff for this exams are genrally 40-50 marks out of 60 for the written test and PI is for 40 marks.

The faculty to student ratio is 1:30 or 1:35. A good faculty teacher was Ms.Samruddhi Sapkal she is a great teacher and provides real life example to cover the basis of the subject. For the first sem there are internal exams which depends on how teacher wants to conduct it for e.g: Viva, Presentation, etc. And the external exams are classic written test. Rarely a student fails the exam in my batch there was only one.

Yes I faced Interview and written test for admission. The written test was of 60 marks and PI was of 40 marks. I prepared for the test by practicing some Quantative Ability questions and Logical Reasoning Questionos. As for the PI I prepared by reading the newspaper and keeping up with day to day surroundings

Gym is provided by symbiosis itslef in there other campus which is near the area. Library is closed in night as it is only open during college hours. Hostel usually have intime of 10.30 pm. There is Pavillion mall near the college which is a great hanging spot. The area is very safe to roam at night as it is in the main city of Pune
