Some faculties are very experienced they teach us very well, here labs are in good condition you can do practical demonstration easily.
Uit rgpv provides excellent placement opportunities to students, with a good track record of successful placements in top companies.
Uit rgpv is good in fee as very low about 23000 and scholarship is also given to the students who are eligible for the scholarship and jobs opportunities are also more in this college with good package

Dislikes

The placement is not too good, but there are many companies that offer you decent packages the placement are not that good because maximum companies are mass recruiter but you can go off-campus placement.
The college hostel has a very low occupancy there are no bed for everyone
There is a hostel on our college campus which provides a bad facility there is a mess for students there is a library for the students for style study there is a parking facility there is a canteen also.

Truth about the college

Faculty here is so supportive and hostel seniors is also so good they help us in every situation and the Nature and there is lots of places you can visit here nature around the college is too much good u loved it and lots of places to visit neacolla

Dislikes

Lots of things is not available here and some faculty is also not well qualified

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course circulam is based on rgpv bhopal and is almost same as every govt college in first year u have to study all the subjects of every branch till the end of this course in 4 years u studied around 40 subjects and they explained about lots of practical things and discuss in college classrooms and teaching methods of almost all the professor is too good and understandable and I don't know much about the exam difficultly level I'm still a student of first year so but I have heard from my seniors that exam is also not so tough and related to syllabus which professor taught us in classes

The review of an honest student

Likes

The campus is very large it is of about 250 acres which is a lot.
The faculties are very good and supportive they help you in every way possible.
The crowd here is good. You can have a great discussion about anything with those talented students.

Dislikes

The area is large but is not well maintained.
They should clean the college campus once every week.
You need to walk a lot in this campus like 1-2 km daily.

Placement Experience:

The placements were very good this year almost 90% students got placed from our college. The average package is somewhere around 3.5 lpa which is enough for a decent college ig and being tier 2 college it has it's own value in placement

Wonderful and life changing college

Highly qualified faculties for every subject in all streams
Training and placement cell well equipped
Anti ragging and student friendly environment

Dislikes

Political interference in many things like staff deployment
Location is very out of the town and near to mountains
More than 200 colleges are running under RGPV flag which is confusing

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester, placement companies conduct placement campuses for all eligible students. Those students who do not have any backlogs are eligible for attending campus drives. The average package is 6 lakhs per year to 40 lakhs per year.

Likes

Faculties are well educated and well trained. Their teaching skills are really good and all the faculties are PhD in their respective subjects.
Crowd of the college is really good as students get admission here through JEE and a healthy competition can be seen within students.
Infrastructure of college is really nice. Various departments are there including management, Pharmaceutical , Nanotechnology etc. Central library is very good for studies and books on diverse subjects are available in the library.

Dislikes

The timings of college is from 10am to 5.30 pm which i find a bit difficult beacuse my home is far away from college.

Placement Experience:

Campus placemement is available for students by training and placement cell of our college. Students pursuing BTech petrochemical Technology can also opt for GATE exams foe better options related to employment and higher studies.

UIT RGPV REVIEW

My college campus is too big and there are seperate department's buildings.
You can get many books in college's liberary either for you syllabus or extra curriculam.
Faculties are too good and supportive and educated. They will help you every time.

Dislikes

Book issuing time of liberary is after 2 pm.
Canteen of my college is closed till now. But it may be open soon.
No proper management is there for cleaning.

Placement Experience:

You can get bot on campus placement as well as off campus placement. The average package of on campus placement is about 4.5 lpa. It is better to try for off campus placement as you can get so high package.

An unwanted Bad review

There are very few things which I can say I like one is it is a government college.
You don't have to go college daily as teachers itself don't force you ti come.
No pressure of assignment and projects they can be done easily.

Dislikes

Teacher itself don't know what they are teaching.
The hod and the senior teacher pressurized us to do other work also.
There is no proper canteen in the campus.

Placement Experience:

There is very less campus placement. Most of the companies coming last year are of sales . Most of the students who got placed are placed by themselves only outside the campus. Because of this only I opted for higher education and prepare for gate and doing masters from IITGn .

Canteen is not in whole campus just one amul parlour is situated ated in front of main gate
Their is no campus life worst campus no sports facility
Grenery is so much I liked so much the tree and all things

Dislikes

Faculty not taking interest in developing technical skills in student
Placement scenerio is so poor in lower branch like civil automobiles etc
Campus location is in outside of bhopal not connected to main road

So talking about placement scenerio their is good company coming for cse and it branch like TCS Wipro bajaj the highest package is 12lakh while lowest package is 3.5lakh per annum about 30 percent student are placed from.my college

The infrastructure of the college is very good
The canteen is very good with beautiful view
The shopping complex of the college is very well managed

You will become eligible to take placement from the college from 7th semester. There are several companies like Havells, Arvind envisol, Volvo Eicher, TCS , Emipro , INOX air products etc are the major recruiter of the course and the college. Around 80% of the students from mechanical department and around 60% of the students form overall all courses of Engineering gets placed. I want to join Goverment civil services after my graduation.

A good college according to the price

Likes

60% attendance policy is very good thing
Professors are not to strict they are chill usually
Seniors are very supportive in every field from co curricular to academics

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very bad like they are kinda Mughal-e-Azam types
Bus facility is not upto the mark they come late sometimes they drop in middle of no where and u have to use bus for reach to college
Like professor expect from students each and every detail of course but that are not even teaching properly like they are getting salary they come chi chat sometimes and go

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well if tell the reality curriculum is way out dated according to current job market they are just doing old stupid school thing bring some notes ask us to note down and go home and set questions paper from nowhere god knows ????. And after exam they say everything is in notes . Courses can be updated wrt like other college and the profs quality of teaching can be improved i beleive. The frequency of timing is like 1 mid sem in 1 month and end sem as usual.

Likes

I like the campus life of college as our campus is big and very good
The social life and interaction with people is very good which makes good network with people
The infrastructure of college is also good as good campus amenities is provided

Dislikes

I dislike some facilities behaviour towards students as they do partiality with students
No sport activities held in college as no sports event were organised
There is no intership opportunities is provided by the institution and no any guidance, if students want to do internship they have to find it by themselves

UIT RGPV Bhopal have highly qualified faculty members most of them being PhD holders from institutes like IITs and NITs. The institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidiyalaya (RGPV).

Petrochemical Engineering is a 4 year full time course. It deals with the study of petroleum, natural gases and crude oils, their production and concentration. It is a specialized branch of Chemical Engineering.
