Likes

Some Faculty are determined to make students understand the topics.
As Vasavi is a good college, we get a good social environment among the students.
Clubs of the colleges make students get involved in the discussion.

Dislikes

The area of college is soo less that, when you start walking you get to the same place in no time.
Some Faculty are so reluctant that they just rush to complete syllabus.
Infrastructure at the college is depleted. They must be renewed.

Placement Experience:

From the end of third year that is 6th semester, students will be eligible for placements. However companies start visiting the college from when you are studying in 2nd year. Companies such as providence, visa, Amazon, Cisco, and more take students for internship. ECE students get offers from silicon labs and more.

My College Experience

Likes

Teachers take care of each and every student.
Many hackathons are conducted,which are very useful.
Many clubs which increases coding skills like gdsc are present.

Dislikes

No usage of laptops in the classes,only ppts are used.
Only ppts are used they directly goes on teaching.
Blackboard usage is very less,no minors are conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is very good .Faculty is good.They are very supportive.I think this course is very useful for me.They teach using ppts and blackboard.They got dr. and they did PhD.Exams Papers are standard.

Vasavi college only for placement not for enjoyment

Likes

Placement are very good and the greenary , infrastructure was great.
Lab faculty and the freedom given to students was great

Dislikes

Lack of sports periods,we have the less sports periods ,college provides weekly once sport period
It doesn't contain the hostel,so we should join into the pgs

Placement Experience:

From 4 th semester the students are eligible for the placement but it was less often.most of the students got the placement in the 6 and 7 th semester,the companies like service now and visa, oracle,paga systems are visiting our colleges. The highest package is 36 lpa and average is the 10 lpa and low package is 3.6 lpa,in the IT sector we got the 86% member are placed

Good college for placements and our future

Likes

I like the faculty more because they are friendly and good to give knowledge
And the thing i like more is about placements we have more than 90% placement record
The activities like co curricular and extracurricular held a lot

Dislikes

I dislike the most is college is not having campus hostel
And we don't have any regular fests and trips
We don't have proper infrastructure in some of the labs and classes

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester onwards rhe students will become eligible for the campus placements and the most of the companies that visit our college are Google , Microsoft, Uber, Service Now and Infosys. The highest package of our college is 81 LPA and the average package is about 5-6 LPA and the placements percentage of our college is more than 90% . My plan is to go to abroads for the Higher studies like MS.

I liked the teaching of our faculty because it gave me a clear idea about the concepts.
I enjoy my campus life in a great way even in academics.
According to our seniors our college even have a good avg placements.

Dislikes

I don't think that there is something which I don't like

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the beginning I was very interested in CSE aiml course. And I was looking for a top college where I could get the decent level of studies. All the faculty are excellent and clarify the doubts very clearly.

Nice environmental college

Course Curriculum Overview:

They have introduced very nice courses and good faculty for the department of cse and they have made us interact in regular classes .all the faculty people gave us their entire knowledge to us and we have given our best int the exams

All about VASAVI COLLEGE

Likes

I like teaching of the professors it can understandable for an average student this helps to learn more.
I like the curriculum and timing of the college which is from 9.40pm to 4.20 this helps to create something by own.
I like the greenery and environment in the college as this is located outside The city.

Dislikes

As size of campus is less, A large fest can't be conducted.
Ground is too small, it is impossible to play all the students at a time. And some courts are not present like badminton, tennis.
For good sports we should choose some other college other than this.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year 2nd semester students are eligible for campus placements. Microsoft, service now, Morgan Stanley, Tata consultancy services, in which offers nearly 15-18 lpa. Nearly maintaining a cgpa of 8.5 can get a good number in getting placed. I wanted to pursive MTech after my btech.

Likes

The way of education is good in vasavi college
The way of teaching is also good in vasavi college

Dislikes

Pattern of exams is so hard and correction of papers also
Bulky of labs will be conducted by the college
There are no events in vasavi college of engineering

The placements which are heald in vasavi college of engineering are good other than our expections So many top compants will hire the students of vasavi college of engineering they hire the students based upon their skill

Likes

The way the teachers teach and care about the students
The seniors are very helpful and they are like mentors to us
I like the equality they show towards the students.

Dislikes

There are many rules ,so this college resembles school more than a college
No holidays on Saturdays the college hates giving holidays
The food in canteen not so good and no sufficient place to students to sit

Placement Experience:

From fifth sem students are eligible.Adobe,Google and many other product based and service based companies visit the college for placements .the highest package last year was 1.36 cr and average for all branches is 10 lakh and 13 lakh for cse .the percentage of students who got placed are 85 percent nearly.i amm thinking of pursuing mtech.

The institute you decide to enroll in isn’t going to determine your growth. It rather depends upon what you choose to do. However, it is suggested that you join the institute based on your subject preference.

Here is a concise outlook of the institute:

The faculty of the institute is extremely proficient and knowledgeable.
Some professors hold Ph.D. degrees and are part of research in different departments.
It has a good library that comes with many books, journals, etc.
There are excellent placement opportunities for CS and IT students. However, it differs according to the market trends. The campus is visited by several core companies.
It also conducts sports, clubs, technical and cultural fests.
The labs are well equipped.

Disadvantages:

Security is very strict, you cannot go freely in and out of the campus.
The campus is small, including the sports grounds.
Hostel facilities are not up to the mark.
The interaction between juniors and seniors is very little.

Thus, make an informed decision. Go through as many reviews as possible before finalizing. As this will shape your career ahead.
