You can apply for internships within the college or outside, under any other professors or companies, if you like. You get a 20k grant for doing summer internship. Mostly you have to mail professors and make your own correspondence for the internship, college is not mandated to help in that.
students can undertake various research internships with the professors in the institute as well as apply to foreign and national level internships. the 4th and 5th year students in the chemical sciences have to undertake compulsory project work under a faculty guide and present their findings as part of the course structure.

As it is a research oriented college, for that reason there is no such placement cell. But there is opportunity cell. There are professors and guides to help us in getting phd from top eminent research institutes. Anyone having more than 7.5 cgpa can get direct chance for BARC interview.
As a Niser student, you get a lot of opportunities to work as an intern in any reputed institution in India or can choose to go abroad. For internship, you get a contingency grant of 20k which can be used for purpose of the book.
We can get a job in BARC only by a job interview, and people can join ISRO and DRDO, but most of the Niserites focus on Ph.D. after their course as most of them want to pursue research as their main goal, otherwise, they can also join industrial jobs.
Most of the students go for PhD programme after this integrated programme and I also have plans to go abroad for my Doctorate degree. No such recruiters visit but students with good CGPA get to appear in a Interview round for further endeavours. I am still doing my B.Sc + M.Sc program that's why don't have any individual experience to share.
