Remarks

Admission is based on the NEST examination. You can find it by searching the NISER website. Reservation is available for obs sc st and PWD. The exam is a lengthy exam of 3.5 hours having a sectional cut-off system means you have to score a min mark in each subject to be on the merit list.

Course Curriculum Overview

Integrated MSc, dual degree MSc-PhD is available. Faculties are scientists working in the lab and taking classes. There are a lot of quizzes and mid-semester and end-semester examinations. In the first year, maths is tough for everyone.

Internships Opportunities

As a Niser student, you get a lot of opportunities to work as an intern in any reputed institution in India or can choose to go abroad. For internship, you get a contingency grant of 20k which can be used for purpose of the book.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very less and yes we get a DISHA scholarship of 5k per month. on doing an internship we get 20k. For expensive books, the central Library helps a lot. There is no campus placement but you can apply and be selected there.

Campus Life

Campus Life is amazing. it is not much restricted. it mostly depends on the child how he/she uses the freedom. There are a lot of clubs which help the budding talent. its labs are the best ones all over India.
