Remarks

NISER is an autonomous research institute that does research with atomic energy. Our earth is the great source of atomic power that needs to be explored. So, integrated B.Sc-M.Sc course is necessary for doing better about earth science. Admission is cleared through the entrance exam of NEST and the selection is based on the gained score.

Course Curriculum Overview

Earth Science in M.Sc level is a Postgraduate environmental science course. In B.Sc level different parts of environmental science are taught. The major themes of this program deal with modern tools and techniques of geochemistry, remote sensing and geophysics. Soil science, Atmospheric science, Oceanography etc are some subjects to be mentioned. Faculty is open-minded to deal with the students.

Class Size: 134Course Fees: INR 97150 per year

Placement Experience

Students who have more than 7.5 CGPA in five years integrated M.Sc course, get a chance to attend interview at Bhaba Atomic Research Centre. Candidates of the institute get good salary according to their job roles. The highest CTC is paid for Ph.D students which is around Rs 4.5 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Top 60 students of the university get NISER scholarship from the college. It is funded by department of science and technology. Department of Atomic energy provides DISHA scholarship which is a monthly stipend of Rs 5000.

Campus Life

NISER has currently 300 seater auditorium with vast range of knowledge in the library. The institute gives importance on the practical education and likewise theory. So, each department has its own laboratory for students.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

My College Life.

Placement Experience:

Students after 5th semester are allowed to get pre placement training. And then from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited to our college for recruitment are like TCS, Accenture,Zenus, Infosys etc Average package in my college is 8LPA and the highest package of this year is 25LPA. Almost 70 percent students get placement. My plan is to get a job as a Software Engineer in Google with a package of 30LPA.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

I just love the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I just love the subject thats why I chosed the course. The curriculum preparation for real-world applications of further academypursuits well. We can improve our lab area and class room also we need some more space. The frequency time of exam is not very good.

In 5th semester the campus is coming to give you jobs. The company are vedant ltd, jsw, tata, reliance etc, outside companies also come. Maruti Suzuki. 60 to 70 per cent of students gate the job. I am also job junior engineer at Tata.

Life at BGU

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

Admission:

I filled my form online and provided my cl-12th results with my application as per their demand.Later they also took my entrance exam. And on the basis of my 12th results and my entrance test results,they enrolled me in our college.

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.

A decent college with a good degree to provide

I had also applied for IISER's but I chose niser over them due to its reputable state so I can pursue PhD from foreign institutes. Also one more thing I have seen many place that you can give direct interview in BARC after doing Msc but there is a twist that BARC has very low vacancies(1-2) so please don't consider that factor to join here. To join niser you need to give NEST exam so keep an eye on that and to crack it just solve pyqs it will be sufficient....Read More

One of the best institutes if you want to pursue a career in research

Admission process is quite streamlined with a separate exam being conducted for the entry into the institute.
