Our college received internships from highly recognized companies such as L&T, Mphasis, HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra, Hexaware Technologies, and more.

Dislikes

The main fault lies in the MU pattern. They are the worst. Every topic is not fully explained, only a bit of the topic is covered before moving on. How will students understand it? Additionally, we have to write both rough and fair journals. When will students have time to study?
Dont expect an internship just after completing your degree. In fact, anyone in college who is pursuing a BSc does not have to necessarily pursue an internship. They can either continue with their BSc or pursue any other course because there is virtually no scope after BSc

Likes

The college is near from the dadar station so it's easy for students to come college.
The College has a big campus,whereas the big ground.

Dislikes

The teaching staff management is the worst
Everytime the faculty are not available in every semester

It is very relevant where as it follows Mumbai University syllabus,It is very up to date .As a student we were not given a chance to select a electric subject so forcefully we were told to select Available subjects.

Life in Ruparel College

Likes

The College is very near from Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park
Our College has the most beautiful campus in Mumbai and is almost 10 acres wide

Dislikes

Some of the teachers in Information technology department are not qualified for their jobs
The Management Department hiring the staff is very lazy and useless

The curriculum is pretty up to date as per the Mumbai University but our college has robbed us from an opportunity to select an elective subject and given us subject by them selves and the teachers were to not available till a month before exam.

Things to know before taking admission in D. G. Ruparel

Likes

The college has a beautiful campus of around 10 acres
The college is very close to matunga Station

Dislikes

The Information Technology department has the worst faculty
They do not have enough teacher to teach a class

The syllabus is up to date and follows mumbai university given syllabus pattern But due to lack of teaching staff the third year students didn't get a chance for selecting an elective subject and had to choose whatever the college was offering

Why I choose DG Ruparel college of arts science and commerce

Likes

The campus, it is one of the best campus so far I have experienced in Mumbai the college has organised a underwater reservation project and rain water harvesting too. It is the best place for Birds who come for migration
The quality of education provided by the college is excellent all the professors are well trained and have the best knowledge of their field

Dislikes

The management is a bit incoperative and the treatment towards students is not good

I was a junior college student of ruparel itself but for science stream as I was preparing for NEET then 2 years gap led me to arts preparing for upsc and my college supported me by giving me admission on the basis of my merit as droppers are generally ignored in other colleges if not in the merit list. We have various field visits like I am an history and political science student so we had a practical visit to new delhi parliament and human rights commission.

An OK college ,the decision is yours

Likes

Events do get held monthly so there is social interactions here and there and it is quite active
U ll rarely find some mentors who are great at what they do .

Dislikes

Overall the college does needs improvement in many aspects like the management sector it's getting worse day by day
Not all teaching staffs and office staff are co operative . Teaching methods should be changed each and every now and then . From the past years no placements has been offered and have been heard of such

This course is designed to give you many opportunities and career fields in diverse . Ther difficulty rises and decreases in accordance with ur field of interest . It's difficult I can say that , well I did get a 1 year drop in between by FY and SY , passing the exams a day before cramming everything is not possible. Only if you are interested and resilient to do it .Go for it !!!

The campus of Dg Ruparel is awesome And the teachers are very helpful, and the faculty is very nice

Dislikes

The faculty and the placement cell can improve, but overall it is a good college

There was no specific curriculum. I chose BCom because I wanted to keep my option open. The curriculum does give some idea of the industrial world, but it does not fully prepare the student for industry. If one is Thinking of pursuing bachelors of commerce, they should also also think Think about the courses that can get them industrial ready

The campus and the environment of the surroundings

The management. The management needs to get little better

I choose double major in TY as psychology and English literature. Even since i entered this college and started to learn psychology as my subject i fell in love with psychology. Placement are available in our college but I suggest rather than doing a job go for msc there are various option as I am about to opt chemistry in 3rd year in basis of that I'll choose what I have to do like doing msc is must in today's date

I liked about my college is the staff they are very sweet and humble towards everyone
Our college provides great infrastructure and good facilities
