Likes

Faculty because they are from the same field and have the best experience and lessons to teach us.
Scholarships are also available on merit basis to the top 40 candidates and girls have special scholarships.
The registration process for the hostels is very easy because it is included in the semester fees and it is pretty affordable and worth it for the value it provides.

Dislikes

None other than less holiday,but that is also one of the disadvantages of being in this course
The ground is not well maintained and long grass are pressent
The fees required is very much is not worth it

Tolani Maritime Institute: Life of marine cadets

The placement record is one of the best in Asia
The faculty is well educated and experienced
The crowd is decent and discipline is maintained

Dislikes

The fees is in a higher end when compared to other institutes
Lack of availability of smart boards in a morden education center
The hostels are very sub par given the fees and hygine is not maintained.

Placement Experience:

In tolani maritime institute students start getting placed right from semester one. For placement eligibility a student shoukd have zero backs and even if they have back they can still get placed on the condition they clear it within the course duration. In my course about 85 percent students get placed from campus placement with a avg pakage of 700000 in start after first promotion it can go upto 2400000 per annum. After the degree i plan to pursue the same profession.

The sports facility and environment of the college is noce
The faculty behaviour towards you as a parents
In the college you will be kept engaged for better academic score

Dislikes

Regular changing of uniform for everything
Regular pt muster in the morning 6 am and absent fill face harsh consequences

Placement Experience:

The college itsef provide you best placement with a around $1000 round the year stipend and around $3000 when 4th engineer .so in term of placement there is no competition of this college with other .

TMI the best college

Likes

Campus placed outside the city and there is lots of greenery around it
On-campus placement rate is 100 percent its better then all other colleges
We get proper training for ships life thats a plus point since we get adopt to adventures life easily

Dislikes

Connectivity from outside world is poor due less means of transport
Campus shedule so hectic its hard to get use to for new students
Course content is hard to study it makes course more tough thean other degrees

Placement Experience:

Students get placement from 3rd semester and on campus placement is good before completing 4th year 100 percent students get placed. My plans after getting a degree is to sail for 10 years and spend rest of the time with my family

Camping to become successful

The training which our college provides us is phenomenal
The infrastructure and the food which is provided to us is phenomenal
The girl to boy ratio is less as this field is new for girls its 800:55

Dislikes

The things which i kinda disliked are the watercoolers
Provided in the hostels they are dirty and secondly sometimes
It gets really hot in the hostels so coolers should be provided

Placement Experience:

The college placement record is veey good a 100 percent for nautical science and a 95 percent for our cource so my plans is clear just to get into one of the huge companies whose stipends are huge for training

If this was the topic in current situation am in 4th year and almost 80 percent of 4th year ar placed and there are again 12 companies on the way for placemet so no need to worry about just clear ur exams ull surely get placed if u have backlogs also ull be placed but u need clear before going to sailing that all my plan is sail for some years after i get the degree

Infrastructure is very good here you get everything inside the campus
Faculty and staff are well trained as per the course

Dislikes

Hectic schedule for college from 8:30 am to 4:40 pm
Early morning wake up for pt in the ground

Placement is very good in the campus. Most of them get placed inside the campus during the course only. If anyone left than also college give them 1 years opportunity to get placement from college only

Life at tolani

Likes

The teaching staff is very good. They teach well
There are good facilities regarded to studies
The food is good and healthyand poses no health threat

Dislikes

The ground is not well maintained and long grass are pressent
The hostel are surrounded by trees which lead to insects
Hierarchy is must. Seniors are very strict

Campus placement nears 100% for almost every batch. That is the main attraction of the institute. Several companies come throughout the 4 years. In some cases, students are placed in the first year itself. Companies keep coming and recruiting in bulk.

The notes and class they provide are the best when compared with other college in this field
The engage most of the people in sports activities in-fact there is numerous sports and games held
The amount of money spend for students for studying is not less they could get

Dislikes

Leaves are less when compared with regular colleges and same category of colleges
You might need to travel about 1 hour to get to the college from Pune city
Don’t get enough time to manage keep myself doing my favourite activity and the studies due to tight schedules

Placement Experience:

The company could come in any of the year, but usually start giving placements formn fouth semesters onwards. The top companies like NYK, K-Line, Goodwood, BSM, BP are competing to take the students from TMI

Students start getting campus placement from 1st year itself. Various worldwide and top companies visit out institute. The package for everyone is almost same, but still vary from 400 USD to 1000 USD. By the end of the course almost more than 95% students get placed. After getting degree i will do job in my field.
