Course Curriculum Overview
The workshop and other practical are much realayed to our real life pursuits . But they emphasis more on theory then practical that i think did make the course quite boring . I would prefer you to not bunk the classes as every clases are important
Internships Opportunities
There is a ship in our campus for the internship some of company offers you on-board internship and some not . So there is a ship in our campus named as prabhu vidya in which you will be on duty from 8 am to 4pm
Placement Experience
The college itsef provide you best placement with a around $1000 round the year stipend and around $3000 when 4th engineer .so in term of placement there is no competition of this college with other .
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is like 370000 each semester in which 1lakh is college establishment fees and 40000 your atudent account for your food bills and all . The rough figre of fees for the 4 year course is 24 lakh and it is increasing as the fees for the 2024 batch is 27 lakh
Campus Life
The college life is good as you will find a lot to discover in this college. There are many club according to your hobby . There is many sports events that are conducted every semester. Infrastructure is average .
Hostel Facilities
The fiod provided is above average but the problem is that you will be bored of it as it is repeating. There is common bathroom that is quite dirty but you will find it clean after coming back from college the cleaner clean them regularly
Admission
I prefer this college as this college is ranked 1 in this field in all the parameters especially in terms of placement because of 100% placement in nautical science and 90 % in marine engineering . So it is my opinion for choosing this college
Faculty
Faculty in the college are well supportive and give their best to make you able to understand. But the examination is quite disgusting in me as it is very common to get backlog. You should get 50%marks minimum in each subject
Night Life
The late night schedule in hostel ends with muster and some night time chill with other . After 11:00 hours you are not allowed to turn on light as it is silent hour . You have to sleep after that and if caught doing any mischief like fufu and all your whole night will become hell due to punishment
