Faculty members are very efficient and well educated
Green campus which gives a positive energy to students

Dislikes

No other programs .college only focused on teaching

Placement Experience:

Actually I was not aware of placements as I am studying in 1st year but I think there are better placement opportunities In computer science 95% placement is provided Other departments have less compared to cs

The infrastructure of the college is top rated.NBA has given a 10 on 10 for the infrastructure facilities like laps,classrooms,and other amenities
They give more importance to the development of each and every student by conducting workshops,extra classes, remedial classes for students scoring less mark
They promote the promote the professionalism in the students. Make sure they dress in professional attire and build the best attitude

Dislikes

The hostel is very strict.Need to take permission for each and every small things.feels like a prison
The college does not provide funding for cultural activities for arranging Bands and other programs.Also night programs are not allowed.Girls and boys are not allowed to dance together they tie a rope between them
The security is very strict.make problems unnecessary.The college is very controlling

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Biomedical curriculum is choosen such that it provides the latest syllabus.Lab facilities are also very good.They have collaboration with top health care companies like GE healthcare,Agappe diagnostic,Rani Eye care Hospital,Eightwe Digital Transformations etc

Soar high to success

Likes

The campus is pretty, it's a green campus
It has a huge library probably largest in our Thrissur district
Class is a vibe and teachers are way too friendly

Dislikes

Hostel food is sometimes yuck u need to sacri
Computer science department has the highest student strength n they win all the contest
During summers it's pretty tough to sit inside due to heat n sometimes current goes off

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is biomedical engineering which plays a special role in medical field as it teaches us to test and caliberate medical equipment and ensure patients safety and smooth treatment. A leading course that has a great future

Likes

Good infrastructure, and the college was a green campus
Timely exams, assesments and declaration of result.

Dislikes

Education gap, like some topics are repetitive
More latest equipments could be provided in labs
Funding for students projects are limited

Placement Experience:

IT companies mostly come for the placements, the annual package was around 5 LPA. However, certain roles received offers like 10 LPA. Students are eligible for the placements from the 6th semester onwards.

Likes

I really liked the structured teaching method.
I liked object oriented outcome based learning
Exams and assigment tests are well arranged

Dislikes

I've got nothing to hate. Everything is good
Everything is well organized and maintained
One thing i dont like is over strictness.

Placement Experience:

I heard that the college is offering placements for the students after completing their studies. I dont know much details as im a first year student. The average package is 80000. Interland , innovature companies have visited

A Experience Unleashed.

Likes

A beautiful and appreciatable knowledge centre or library.
A good campus enclosure with environmentally feasible architecture.
No ragging or so reported by the students.

Dislikes

No promotion of language by the college faculties.
No implementation of events related to each departments.
No faculty assistantance for event creation.

College management is saying that they reached 90 percentage placement last year.Since the college is more focused on academics the rate of backpapers is less.I think this also reason for the higher placement rate.

The green college

Likes

The most liked feature of our college is the cleanliness
Smart boards in every class rooms makes teaching and studying more easy
Regular exams makes us to study the topic thoroughly

Dislikes

Cultural events are comparatively less in the college
Only onam, Christmas and arts are celebrated
There won't be any night events in the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually we are the last batch of ktu 2019 scheme so the topics that are teaching is somewhat old and which is not used in now a days. Actually the syllabus needs to be updates. The new 2024 scheme students have updated subject which are more related to real world applications.

The college has a beautiful campus with greenery everywhere ,also the campus is super clean
SCET emphasizes strong academic performance
high placement unit,NSS cells, various programs including women empowerment and much more

Dislikes

some students felt that the academic is more prioritized
there are some strict regulations on student activities which lead to the cancellation of some of the programs but i think it is for the betterment of the students
teachers take classes during break time ,since we have only 10 minute break

Placement Experience:

placement is high with some branches 95 percent companies that visit are mostly software companies like wipro,infosys tcs etc. several companies make multiple offers . if not placed graduates often pursue higher studies

The campus is really good.Its very green and clean. There are many staffs to take care of the campus itself. There are more than 2 cantees aswell. There are many different verities of tasty food.
Labs and classrooms are pretty decent.The way of teaching is also pretty good
Faculties are good. They are always ready to teach us in need. They provide great support

Dislikes

College is somewhat strict. They aim for disciplined engineers.
We need to be there by 8.45 and can leave after 4.20 . So it is little difficult for some of the students who are coming from more distance
The amount of programs and functions are less compared to other colleges .So if you are looking more on study, you can go there. If you prefer collage life more,then it will be the wrong place

The curriculum seems pretty good. It focus on what industites need . The college faculties had many discussions with industrialists and they are mainly focusing on what industries need. Series exam will come once in a month.There will be 2 Series per semester. Also there will be 1 project to do in each semester

Not Great But Not Bad : Sahrdaya College Of Engineering And Technology Review

The thing i liked the most about the college is the spacious and well built architecture and campus facilities.
The Programs conducted and the involvement of faculties and teachers is really motivational to us students.
The Teaching methods and mentorship quality of the teachers especially teachers like Dr.Vishnu Rajan of Electronics and Communication Department is top notch.

Dislikes

The curriculum is really outdated and the syllabus is really old.
It is a hectic process to get sign for any documentaation from the managment.
The placementcompanies and oppurtunities are subpar.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placement from the ending of 3rd year.The companies so far visited this year were UST global DUK Hykon,Sutherland,TCS and Cognizant.The highest package obtained was around 10 LPA.The percentage of students getting placed are about 2percentage .My plans after getting the degree is to work in my fathers engineering firm.
