Course Curriculum Overview

3

Currently im following 2019 scheme.I have opinion that it is high time to change the course outcomes. We need a more modern and structured application level curriculum. The teaching methods are appropriate.

Internships Opportunities

3

Many of the initially implemented startup companies started offering internship opportunities. Students are getting placed in vipro, Infosys, etc. Mostly the placement cell is contributing a lot to it mostly.

Placement Experience

4

College management is saying that they reached 90 percentage placement last year.Since the college is more focused on academics the rate of backpapers is less.I think this also reason for the higher placement rate.

Fees and Financial Aid

Last year i paid 75000 rupees as tution fee to the college. Then i paid 5000 rupees as exam registration fees to the KTU. Additional charges include 24500 for bus and money paid for conducting cultural events.

Campus Life

4

Sports day held this January and February will be the time for cultural events. College has a brilliant library, which is also a key attraction of the college. There are also many societies within the campus.

Hostel Facilities

3

I am not a hostler, i don't know much about the hostel conditions.I heard that the hostel mess food is not that good. I've not experienced any of the hostel conditions. I'm a day scholar of the college.

Admission

I almost got admitted in VIDYA College but because of some payment issues i went for my current college.I had made connections with some of the teachers of that college who explained me about the course structure.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student relationship is moderate i would say. They are approachable. The exam schedulation and marking systems are not bad. They have no compromise on academics. There is a placement cell concentrating on placements.

Interview Experience

2

I had no programs for admissions.I was directly admitted to the college After admission was the induction programmes,GD, questions, etc. There were no other criteria for admission. The fees was paid and admission was initiated.

Night Life

5

College has a small gym facility. A descent canteen facility. Hostel timings are very strict i heard. Also there are pretty greeny cool off spots like huts to chill with friends.Hostel food is really pathetic from the students side

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
