The institute admits students for six specializations under the B.Tech course. There are a total of 420 seats. For admission, a candidate must have passed 10+2 in the Science stream.

• The candidate needs to have completed 10+2
• The candidate should have scored 50% in Mathematics, and 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together.
• For selection, the candidate needs to take the KEAM.

How to apply for KEAM?

The following documents are required for registration:

• A valid email ID and mobile number
• Scanned copies of photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression
• Class 10 mark sheet
• Income certificate
• Reservation category certificate
• Birth certificate
• Community certificate

Steps:

• Provide email ID and phone number to register for KEAM 2021. A system-generated application number will be provided to the candidates.
• Affix left-hand thumb impression
• The form should be signed by you or your parents.
• After registration, log in again and fill out the form. Save and preview before submitting.
• Upload scanned images of recent photographs, signatures, and thumb impressions.
• The application fee can be paid online using a Debit/Credit card or Internet banking or offline through demand draft.
• Send a copy of the application form with the following:
  • A recent photograph measuring 3.5cm x 4.5cm.
  • The form must be attested by a Gazetted Officer.

For admission to B.Tech lateral, a candidate should have a diploma in Engineering. For selection, they have to qualify the LET. The total intake for B.Tech lateral is 42.

For admission to M.Tech, a candidate has to be a graduate in engineering or technology with 60% marks. For selection, they have to take the GATE.

• The candidate should have scored 60% marks.
• The candidate should have a valid GATE score card.

How to apply for GATE?

• Visit the official website
• Register through the link by entering the candidate’s name, email ID and mobile number.
• After the form is submitted, an enrolment ID will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number.
• Fill out the application form.
• A fee of 1,500 INR (750 INR for women and reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
• Download the form and keep a printout for future reference.

SCE offers admission to PhD under three specializations. They are: Biotechnology, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electronics and Communication. To be eligible to pursue a PhD, a candidate has to have an M.Tech degree in the relevant field.
