Being a J&K migrant i was allowed to give Karnataka CET. My score was around 80-90 and rank 13501. This college was the best option i had at that time. I wanted to pursue my engineering in Computer Sciences and this college in particular was good in placements and faculty back then.
Management could really improve on the extra-curriculars and the hostel facilities like mess and repairs. The pros of this college are definitely its faculties, mentors and placements. Cons are few in number but if you are into this college for a while, you'll see its better than most other colleges in the city.
Comedk I SCORED 102 out of 180 and got a rank if 7197 in comedk all India online test. My choice was RNS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY because I wanted to study electronics and communication engineering in Bangalore and RNSIT is best for that also it has been producing ECE toppers of VTU for last 2-3 years and now I know why.
Good: very serious on studies and classes. Every semester a scoring on lecturers are done by students through an automated software, which is completely anonymous and reviewed by HOD's and Principal.Bad : College doesn't want to spend much on cultural fests, which from a students point of view I can say that it happens once a year where students and staffs enjoy. Could be very. They are very non cooperative in terms of cultural fests.
CET. As its was one of the emerging best colleges for academics I chose this college. The admission process was pretty strict and based on the CET ranking achieved.
College is good when it comes to studies. But when it comes to modernisation we have to go far. Being a co-ed college students should be allowed to interact.
To take admission in this college you should apply for COMEDK exam and CET exam. this exam is held only in Karnataka, if you are from karnataka you have to give CET exam. where you should fill the forms and pay via bank draft of any nationalised bank. It is better option for you because hear any student can get admission by preparing by basic book of 11th and 12th hat is NCERT.
I am having a good experience in this college. The faculty members are supportive and encourage students in both academics and extracurricular activities. The campus environment is good and there are various opportunities to learn new skills through workshops, events, and projects. The infrastructure and labs are well maintained, and the college also focuses on overall student development. It is a good place for students who are willing to learn and grow.

Being a part of Q Club at and serving as the Head has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my college life. Q Club is not just a technical club — it is a platform where students get opportunities to explore innovation, teamwork, leadership, and practical learning beyond classrooms.
The club constantly encourages students to participate in workshops, technical events, project discussions, and collaborative activities that genuinely help in skill development. What makes Q Club special i

RNSIT offers an incredible research ecosystem for students. I’m grateful to Dr. Akshay Arjun for his mentorship; his guidance was vital in securing our patent for a NanoPhosphor-based Gamma Radiation Detection device. The college actively supports innovation through the Undergraduate Research Forum (URF), providing stipends and hosting competitions like Buildathons. There is a great emphasis on interdisciplinary projects that help us turn ideas into real-world success.
