Remarks

This is a college known for it's good academics and notes. This college is trying to improve. Yes, one thing for sure: If you want to prepare for Exams like Gate, then never join any Comedk Colleges.

Very expensive for Students entering through Comedk and Management quota and very cheap for students entering through Kcet.

I am residing in hostel. 1st year boys hostel block is different. For 2nd,3rd and 4th year, it's common. Fees: 37,000Rs annual for seat rent + 20,000Rs security money+110Rs per day for mess food. Mess food is compulsory to take. Mess food is really bad. This is the worst mess food i am eating ever.

Low Alumni network is a concern here.

Exam Structure

Very hectic exams and labs since it is affiliated to VTU. Any college affiliated to VTU will be hectic. They are taking three internals and all are compulsory.

Okay if you want to score marks only. Don't expect too much in any of the Comedk Colleges.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho,etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.

MIT Bengaluru-The College Beyond Exxpectations

Placement Experience:

Students here are eligible for placements or internships right after the 3rd year. Mit Bengaluru is planning to make its students placement merging with its parent clg Mit Manipal. Currently none of the placement record is there as the first batch is in 3rd year only.None of the companies have visited for placement b ut companies like IBM, TCS do come for their talks. I have no plans as of now what will I do after a degree.

I chose RNS Institute of Technology because it has a good reputation in Bangalore for engineering, especially for placements and teaching quality. Compared to other colleges I considered, RNSIT offers a good balance of academics, infrastructure, and campus environment. It is also more affordable compared to some private colleges. I had applied to a few other engineering colleges through KCET, but based on my rank and cutoff, I got EEE at RNSIT, which is a good option. The college has better infrastructure and placement opportunities compared to many similar colleges. The admission process was smooth. I got admission through KCET counseling. I applied to a few top colleges in Bangalore like BMSIT and Sir MVIT. I chose RNSIT over them mainly because of its strong reputation for placements, especially in the IT branch, and its green campus. I didn’t get into RVCE or PES because my KCET rank was slightly higher than their cutoffs, which are very competitive. The admission process for RNSIT is straightforward.
