Remarks

The management of the college is good. The facilities provided are enough for all the students.

Entrance Preview

I got admission in this college through COMEDK. I got 79 marks in that exam. The exam consisted of 3 section's of 60 questions each of physics, chemistry and mathematics. 1 marks for 1 correct answer and no neagtive marking for wrong answer. I opted electrical and electronic engineering in this college as it has good placements opportunities and highly qualified faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course structure is very good. It deals with the basic knowledge to complex theories. There are 40 theoretical and 24 practical subjects throughout the course which deals with all the knowledge a person can acquire. It provide ample knowledge to the students for research.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college does provide intership in many MNC's. The stipend depends on the company's and the time of intership. Companies such as Samsung,Infosys,TCS,WIPRO etc. Takes interns on an average stipend of about 10k-12k p.m.

Placement Experience

4

The placementa and job opportunities are quite well. Approximately 80%-90% of the students gets placed in MNC's like samsung, wipro, infosys,TCS and various others. The highest package recently was from Adobe of 14.4 L.P.A. The average package is about 400000 for students.

College Events

4.5

The no. Of events that takes place in college is quite more than average. There is 1 hostel fest that takes place only for the students staying in college hostel. And there is one inter-branch fest held every year known as parichay. The main fest is held once in two year. All these fest consist of technical, cultural, formal, informal and gaming events in which any student can participate with a nominal fee and some events for free. All the paid events have a prize qhich is given to the top 3 winners.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite expensive. The college takes 200000 rs(approximately), which is quite alot. This is only the college fees. The hostel or food charges are different. The hostel fees including food is around 60000 per anu which is quite less as compared to hostels outside the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provide the scholarship for the students who have completed their PUC(class 12th) from karnataka. No scholarships is provided for other students. The college does awards the toppers of the branch.

Campus Life

5

The ratio of boys to girls is 1:1 approximately. There are many clubs, technical and cultural societies for event management and various others. The students are way modern in thinking and have high tolerance values and are really helpful. Some of the locals are really mean regarding their native language kannada to those who don't know it.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities in and out of the college are quite good. There is alot of security provided for the students and the hostels are equipped with facilities like wifi and water coolerand emergency power backup. The mess is also good and provide quality and tasty food.

Alumni/Alumna

Till now unfortunately i am unable to meet any of my seniors. But some of friends who have met them says they are really helpful and inspiring.

Exam Structure

The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya technical university which is responsible for the conduct of the final exams. The internal exams held in college premises are quite quite. The questions in exam covers the main aspects of the chapters. There is ample of time given to students for the exams so overall everyone is chilled out.

Admission

The admission process was carried out through COMEDK. The counselling was done according to the ranks acquired by the students. The dates and the time for all the students were scheduled for counselling. Students according to their rank were called and the document verification was done and then they were asked to choose a college and their desired branch in which they wanted to study but only in the colleges where there are empty seats for that field.

Faculty

5

The teachers are very well qualified. Most of the teachers are pursuing their PHD's and some of them has published international journals and articles in their particular field. The HOD's of the departments are guiding many students for their PHD's and helping many students in research.
