- Faculty is really good . they are not merely disseminators of knowledge but enthusiastic mentors who actively engage with students.
- Environment and vibe was great. diverse people and great college life. various places to visit around college and great college fests many events and concerts.
- The fee structure is pretty high but when you compare with what the college provides, it is good, only the opportunities and scholarships.
Dislikes
- The companies which cone to college are good but very limited people get placed .
- Campus placement was bad, many of the chemical companies didn't came for recruitment and the curriculum is mostly outdated and redundant. professors aren't also great
- Nri quota is really unfair for students getting in on merit.

- Students usually get indulged into bad habits under bad influence. Substance abuse and clubbing are some of the things which a student could easily see here.
Placement Experience:
The placements are very good as compared to many other private colleges. The average salary for IT/CSE went around 15-16 lakh per annum. Almost 80-90% students got placed this year. My plans after getting the degree is to get a good job or maybe do further studies in MBA.

- Campus is way to big so you need to walk alot
- Hard water can give you extreme hairfall
- Rains are way to heavy and need to carry an umbrella always

The placements are decent. Not much Return on investment, but the experience you get is enough but talking about the placement just like any other college CS placements are at top but other branches like mechatronics and EEE Are also good

- Expensive Outside Accomodation ranging from 15k to 30 k per month
- Long walk from hostel premises to the classes

Students become eligible for placement from 7th semester onwards.
Certain companies do not select student having backlogs or may have a CGPA requirement
Companies like Microsoft, Infosys,etc visit the campus
Highest package is 60 lpa and avg package is 40 lpa

- Some students who don't focus into studies get in to wrong stuff like clubbing, smoking, drinking which is made very normal here.
Placement Experience:
The placement about which I've heard are pretty good. The college invites many big recruiters and help a lot in placing the students. There is a special placement team of students itself that help others to sit in placements according to the requirements of the companies. A good percentage of students get placed every year(80-90%). My plans after getting a degree are to either get placed in a very good company with a good salary and if not then I'll pursue MBA from abroad.

- Campus life Excellent Being national level institute, the campus is spread around 200 acres and displace is also called student city so it’s very good
- Hostel food is also very good They provide a vast priority of items. The South Indian Indian and north Indian food is also very nice
- Man is located in a good place so they’re like many beaches around, so it is a good place to stay and also
Dislikes
- Getting is good. CGP is very difficult so you should study hard.
- Some lectures are strict and they won’t let you get good grades and internals
- Depends on the hostel which you pick. Some hostel wards are very strict so you should be careful in hostel. Also the timing and stuff
Placement Experience:
The placements are also very good. You'll get a average package of eight lakhs in every branch CSE. It is like 15 lakhs and you will be satisfied with the placements. Also the return of investment when you compare to the college fee might be low but when you compare with other colleges, the placement is high and the internships provided by them is also very good. Top companies like Microsoft, Google also comes to pick students

- There is number of student project clubs
- We get all the notes soon after the class gets over and also we get tutorials of teachers
- There is proper gym and sports arena open for all students
Dislikes
- The climate here changes often which is unpredictable
- More bugs and insects which is not taken care
- No proper food is available here though it’s tasty it is full of sugar
Course Curriculum Overview:
The faculties are really helpful in many ways they help us in research field as we ll as in classrooms
The exams will take place in epad method we will have a pretraining session for the usage of epad and all its features

- I like the way they help to grow in the field we are interested
- So many events are organised here which makes us less stressful after classes

- Fees are comparatively high including the hostel fees.
- Food is pretty bad her most of the students order outside
- Exams are done in epads which is kindah hard to write than the normal paper

- I like the campus life in all possible ways to enjoy.
- Wildlife species like all kinds of birds can be observed on or outside the campus.
- I love the food here as the Udupi cuisine is delicious.
Dislikes
- A very bad weather with sudden rainfall. Even Google can't predict the weather properly.
- Half of the students are rich spoiled brats who parties every weekend.
- Cost of studying is very high for a middle-class student.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose CSE with minor in Fin.Tech. Because I want to become a business man. Faculty:student ratio is pretty good. I mean you can easily find lots of teachers wherever you want. All the faculty are qualified with Ph.D's (only Professors). Teaching method is pretty boring in 1st year. Term exams are conducted twice a year and those are easy to pass.

As a student of Manipal Institute of Technology, here are some things I would like to share with you-
- Campus Life- Manipal offers a great campus life. There are student clubs and technical clubs. Technical clubs include- The Solar Mobil Project and Formula Manipal. The dramatics societies don’t perform much but they are a great place for networking.
- Sports facilities- The college has its own semi professional leagues- MIT Cricket League and MIT Football League.
- Food- The campus has good eateries including two Mexican restaurants. Even the hostel mess is decent over here.
- Academics- The curriculum and labs need to be updated, especially for ME and CE. Over here, learning is theoretical rather than practical. Like any other engineering college, you’ll face lots of assignments and tests. Teachers give importance only to marks. This is especially true for CSE, EEE and ECE branches.
- Faculty- The faculty for mechanical and civil is liberal and qualified. Unfortunately however, most teachers at MIT look down upon students with low grades.
- Crowd- The crowd is quite diverse. You’ll interact with people from various cultural backgrounds. Manipal gives ample freedom and opportunities to its students for their personality development. However, the fees are very high.
- Placements- Except for the top 10% in CSE and ECE, low packages are offered to students. Majority ends up getting mass recruited in brands like TCS. Student intake is increasing, and number of core companies visiting the campus is decreasing. Thus, very average placements are secured for such a high fee.
- Higher Studies- Manipal will offer support for your higher studies. Opting for an MSc. after your graduation from Manipal, is a good option.
At Manipal you’ll develop good interpersonal skills. But the fees aren’t justified considering its faculty, academics and placement quality.
