Likes

There is number of student project clubs
We get all the notes soon after the class gets over and also we get tutorials of teachers
There is proper gym and sports arena open for all students

Dislikes

The climate here changes often which is unpredictable
More bugs and insects which is not taken care
No proper food is available here though it’s tasty it is full of sugar

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties are really helpful in many ways they help us in research field as we ll as in classrooms The exams will take place in epad method we will have a pretraining session for the usage of epad and all its features

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is basically 1.5 lakhs per semester for all first year students and after a year it depends on the course we are opting There are huge number of good companies during the placement session and also during internship process

There is very big and productive library which is open for all the students everyday including Sunday And there are student projects club which is based on interviews There is no strict rules which gives us pressure on staying here

Admission

Candidates with science background can get into manipal institute of technology. The application of MIT opens in the month of December and there is entrance exam to get into this college. There is two chance for writing the examination One will take place in the month of April and the other will take place in the month of may They took the admission process in a very smooth way .We can look into the score soon after the exam gets over and later in the early July we ll get the ranking with respect to other Candidates So it is based on the rank on which course we get

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Deloitte, Oracle and many tech companies like them are in agreement with our college for placements. Our college has a great placements opportunities as even after so many CSE students, 70% students every year gets placed with packages as high as 30 lakhs even.

a good college with good atmosphere and placements

Placement Experience:

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

IIT Dharwad Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

Life at MIT Manipal
