Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

This course was my personal preference. The faculty is very nice as there is a teacher guardian for every 15 students. The faculty is well qualified and trained from renowned institutes and is very helpful at every time. It depends on the students how they use opportunities. There are 2 exams conducted in every semester- midsems and the endsems.

Internships Opportunities

4

The college provides great help with internships. The connections are really strong with renowned companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon and many more. The college also provides international internships through the way of student organisations that work to connect students with various opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements are very good as compared to many other private colleges. The average salary for IT/CSE went around 15-16 lakh per annum. Almost 80-90% students got placed this year. My plans after getting the degree is to get a good job or maybe do further studies in MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is pretty decent considering that it is a private institute. Also, the fee structure varies according to the course you opt for. There are various scholarships based on your rank as well as your performance inside campus. Also, the college provides financial help in the form of student loans and treats everybody equally despite of their financial status.

Campus Life

4.5

Life at the MIT campus is very good but it all depends on how you grab opportunities and work upon them. So there is a tech fest which is usually held in the month of October. There you can get into activities and explore your inner talents. Then there is the cultural fest called "Revels" where many artists come and perform. Students showcase their talent and enjoy time with their friends. There are many fun activities performed in the classroom. The sports culture of the campus is pretty decent as the college provides facilities for almost all sports. Despite that, there are many technical and non-technical clubs that help the student to grow mentally and physically.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I'm currently living in a hostel and the facilities provided to us are pretty good. There is time to time cleaning and the room are very spacious as well as well furnished. The mess charges come under the hostel fee itself. The food is very hygienic and the taste is also fine. There was an online booking of hostel before the commencement of the semester which was done on the basis of your rank.

Admission

The admission was done on the basis of an entrance exam called MET. The application form can be found on MITs website. I did not avail any reservation benefit. The procedure of admission is nice as it gives fair chance to everybody.

They fake a lot of their placements....now the bangalore campus currently has 40%placements but they fake the placement rates to make it look like its 80 or 90% which is sad...i heard that if u have really bad marks and couldnt get placed(a lot of ece and eee people, cause they will purposefully try to fail u so that u can apply for the couse again) they will make u sign a document were u agree u never sat for placements.

These companies make a significant number of job offers across various profiles, including software development, consulting, and research. The highest package offered varies from year to year and can range from ?10-20 lakhs per annum, depending on the company and the profile offered. The average package generally falls between ?4-8 lakhs per annum.
