Campus is way to big so you need to walk alot

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum and faculty is decent. Some teachers are average but some are really good and passionate about their subject. The course and syllabus is well structured and helps me to understand basics of engineering very well

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Their are many internship opportunities but didn't have one as i am in 1st year. Also their are many clubs which will keep you busy like formula Manipal , team Manipal racing and many more , these clubs will teach you many things

Placement Experience

The placements are decent. Not much Return on investment, but the experience you get is enough but talking about the placement just like any other college CS placements are at top but other branches like mechatronics and EEE Are also good

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure depends on the branch you take, but for 1st year it's same for every one which is 3.5 lakh. The hostel fees depends on the hostel you take but the hostel fee can lie between 1 lakh to 2 lakh

Campus Life

The life at MIT Manipal campus is really good. It has all the facilities. It has world class sports and gym facilities and everything you need for studies. There are many clubs related to every branch of engineering. The social life is just awesome and one can learn a lot by meeting different people from different parts of the world. There are so many places to near campus both beaches and hills

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is much better than other colleges for sure. It provides you with everything you need . The food is also really good. The only con is most of the hostel are a bit far from the building in with classes are held, but there are buggies which can take you from one to other end of the campus

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

Admission process was pretty simple, just took MET test and got 25k rank through counselling took Mechatronics at MIT Manipal. The MET syllabus is just like JEE mains and the level of paper is easier than JEE mains.

I would say academic wise. There is nothing much happening right now in first year, but then there are many events like hackathons happening where and we can participate and learn a lot even our first year and we have English film and Japanese film, which is basically a whole language club and there are a lot of activities happening such as debate and all, which is obviously helping us gain a lot of public speaking skills and confidence.

Manipal, Student Life You Do Not Want To Miss

I applied for PES and VIT besides manipal and was able to secure a seat in both of them but chose MIT over these colleges because it is more credible and from research provides better packages, courses and options.
