MIT Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. They are trained by the placement cell in various skills like coding, aptitude, soft skills and technical interview. The placement is great with over 170 companies like Infosys, Tata, L&T, Philips, Accenture, Siemens, Bajaj recruiting students from all departments. The average core package is 6LPA and for software companies, it is even greater. More than 480 students got job offers, with numbers increasing every year. More than 75% of students are recruited through campus placements. I would like to work for a few years and do my masters in my college itself in fields like wireless communication and embedded systems.

In my lot of placement for the last two semesters for each department. All the department's faculty should be concentrated on all the student's life for the placement. In my department students placed in almost last semester.

From final year placement gets started. Around 100 companies came and 100 students were placed in our department. The highest package will be 20 lakhs per annum and average around 5 lakhs per annum. 50 percent of students get placed. No plan by now for the future.

From 7 semesters all the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies have visited .IT companies like TCS ,INFOSYS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT have acquired many students. In my department, Many companies came for placement like CEAT tires, ATG tires, Gurit, Belt pro, Etc., Many students got placed.

From 7th semester onwards the companies starts to arrive and placement procedures would be started at that time itself. Very good companies like TCS, CTS, Caterpillar, ZS, Accenture, Infosys, etc will come. It gives an average package of 4-5 lakhs per annum

It is best college for studies.When we see about placements almost all the students are able to get placed in a company.They provide best training in sports for the students to get in state and national level competition.

This is one of the most privilege colleges in India. Dr. A. P. J Abdul Kalam did his Aerospace Engineering in MIT. There are so many great alumni from MIT who will help the current generation students too. You can get some big shots contacts in the field of aerospace. MIT is different from other colleges. Students can get lots of freedom and staffs are so friendly. Placements are very good. Each and every year, many students are getting high packaged jobs in IT field or the core companies. If you choose CSE, ECE and IT in MIT, your life is settled.

4th-year students eligible for campus interviews. Placement is also offered by them. In aeronautical many students wants to get a job after the pg. After my UG, I want to study pg in abroad.

From 6-7 semesters Students are eligible for placements. I haven't visited companies until now as I'm studying. My seniors are in many companies like TCS, etc. About 70-80% got places in previous years. My plan is to go to a better job and take care of my parents.
