Remarks

I have applied through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission. I have an available BC quota for admission. It's based on the cut off marks we obtained in plus two. If we score good marks we could get a seat in a top engineering college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I selected this course because there is a great demand for this in future. Faculty student ratio will be 1:20. Faculty will be mostly those who have done their doctorates. The exams will be a little bit tough and there will be two internals and one end sem exam.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Mostly roles like software engineer, graduate engineer trainee will be offered by companies like TCS, CTS, INFOSYS etc. As far as, I haven't been involved in any project. I'll update it once done with the project.

Placement Experience

From final year placement gets started. Around 100 companies came and 100 students were placed in our department. The highest package will be 20 lakhs per annum and average around 5 lakhs per annum. 50 percent of students get placed. No plan by now for the future.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study will be around 4 lakhs for 4 years including the hostel. There are different types of scholarships available. Based on the eligibility criteria you can get the required one by submitting your income certificate.

Campus Life

Different symposiums will be conducted every year by each department. All kinds of books are available in the library. Special importance is given to sports. More clubs will be there like Nss, yrc, nso etc.

Self studying college with no enjoyment

Placement Experience:

Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Only a limited number of companies visit the campus. The common recruiters are mostly mass hiring IT service companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, and a few local startups. Core companies rarely visit the campus. Very few students get placed directly on campus. For example, in my batch, less than 25–30% of students received offers, and most of them were in IT support roles rather than core engineering jobs. Salary Packages –Highest Package: Around 4.5 – 5 LPA, offered by a software company. Average Package: Around 2.5 – 3 L

Course Curriculum Overview:

From my higher education in school, I am interested in maths and programming. So I decided to take my cse course . The curriculum covers most of the areas of computer science and the syllabus is updated more oftenly. The staffs have great knowledge on their handling subjects.
